In today’s New York Times there is an article entitled Living on Nothing but Food Stamps that pretty much says it all about our state of the nation when coupled with the fact that we are paying billions a month for four and possibly five wars inside of Muslim nations. Why?
Here is the daily quote from the Times:" "I went from making $180,000 to relying on food stamps. Without that government program, I wouldn’t be able to feed my children."- from Isabel Bermudez who lost her job in real estate.
We are insane; we have lost our grasp of reality. The military industrial complex and Patrician greed have warped our sense of right and wrong. Revolution is around the corner. What fascist nation wages war while it has 17.5% real unemployment and one out of nine homes standing empty due to economic meltdown?
