In an unbelievable story from tonight’s Washington Post we learn that yesterday during the record breaking Washington D.C. snowstorm a friendly neighborhood snowball fight occurred at 14th and U streets in the city. The article’s title Snowball fight takes dangerous turn when police officer draws gun pretty much tells the story. A city detective’s personal car was being pelted with snowballs. He got out and drew his gun. There is a video attached.
This is ridiculous. If this is what passes for American law enforcement in the nation’s Capitol, we have a very serious law enforcement paradigm problem in this country. Welcome to Amerika. And we question why we are waging unnecessary wars overseas? As we can see, we are not that far from waging unnecessary wars here at home! This is insane!
