War veterans are the forgotten ‘displaced refugees’
On Thursday, Sep 01, 2005, in response to the HURRICANE KATRINA DISASTER, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist stated in a CNN interview that this is the first time the U.S.A. has had a “DISPLACED REFUGEE PROBLEM”???????????????????
Then What Kind Of Problem does Our Gov’t call 250,000-350,000 HOMELESS VETERANS LIVING ON THE STREETS OF AMERICA FOR THE LAST 20-YEARS, if not a “DISPLACED REFUGEE PROBLEM,” then what do they call it??????
It appears to me at least, that Our Federal Government’s lack of a quick response in providing the immediate basic necessities of life to the mostly non-Veteran Low-Income or Poverty-Stricken Citizens of Louisiana and Mississippi who became Victims of Hurricane Katrina, can now be designated to hold the New Title of….
“2nd-CLASS CITIZENS of America, while LOW-INCOME OR POVERTY-STRICKEN VETERANS have now been moved down a notch to 3rd CLASS CITIZENS, and “HOMELESS VETERANS as 4th CLASS CITIZENS.
I say this because Our Gov’t HAS NOT even offered Our Homeless Veterans “TEMPORARY HOUSING” in Stadiums in New Orleans and Houston or anywhere else, or a “TENT-CITY” as they have the mostly non-Veteran Refugees of Hurricane Katrina…
May God bless and be with all these American Refugees…
And may God bless and be with all of America’s 250,000-350,000 Homeless Veteran Refugees who because of lack of response from Our Gov’t, must sleep under bridges and in the streets of America each night…
