Ruffert, Marvin J. Our dad and best friend quietly passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Maureen (nee Kriz). Loving dad of Brian (Gail) and Gregg (Lisa) Ruffert. Dear grandpa of Jessica and Kirsten. Dear brother of the late Herbert (Marian), the late Donald (the late Beverly), Max (the late Laverne) and Jack (Betty) Ruffert. Dear brother-in-law of the late Gerald and Phyllis Kriz. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral Services Wednesday, November 3, at 11:00 AM, at the FUNERAL HOME.

Visitation Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of services. Procession to Pinelawn Memorial Park for committal services with full military honors to follow. If desired, memorials to the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center appreciated. Marv was a proud Marine and served his country during the Korean War. He was also a longtime member of Gloria Dei-Bethesda Ev. Lutheran Church. “God had been holding a place for this special Marine along side another special Maureen.”
