Veterans of the Fighting Lady – Portrait Exhibit for Veterans Causes
Imaging Arts Gallery will exhibit a series of portraits by regional photographers, displaying veterans who have served or serve today on the USS Yorktown (CV-10). These veterans are from the World War II through the Vietnam War eras and from various branches of service. The portraits were taken in many different spots on location aboard the Fighting Lady (Yorktown’s WWII nickname). The portraits will be on display and for sale, all proceeds going to the Patriots Point Foundation for support of educational and restoration programs.

The private event with auction of portraits will be held Thursday, November 4th, 5-8 pm, suggested donation $50. Opens to the public, November 5th, 5 – 8 p. m. at the Imaging Arts Gallery on 175 King Street in Charleston, SC
The photographers include: Brownie Harris, Squire Fox, Jack Alterman, Diana Deaver, Hunter Mcrae, Tommy Ford, Stacy Pearsall and Andy Dunaway. Producer is Shell B Royster former partner of Soul Studios Hollywood.
These portraits will taken onboard the USS Yorktown in conjunction with the Witness to War program. Some of the veterans and portrait photographers will be on hand to greet and meet with guests to discuss their work and life stories. Click to Donate Online
