Transitioning to a Successful Civilian Career Webinar to held on Feb. 23
On Tuesday, February 23 from 2-3pm EST, Lt. Col Paul Capicik of American Sentinel University will be leading a webinar entitled “Transitioning to a Successful Civilian Career.” In the presentation Lt. Col. Capicik, a 26-year military veteran and former C-level executive, will cover a broad range of topics important to Servicemembers at every point in the process of transitioning to civilian life.
Topics will include:
• Essential steps in preparing to transition
• Tips on making yourself more marketable to a civilian employer
• How to find job openings
• Preparing for an interview
• Other important factors to consider
Marcy Bulstrom, Recruiting Consultant for HireVeterans.com, a major job board for U.S. Veterans says that this webinar is a great way for our U.S. Military service personnel to get a leg up on transition and will increase their probablity of successful in a big way. So she encourages all U.S. Military who are getting ready to transition to get on board. “It’s mission critical that our U.S. Military peeps transition well. Many times, in the military, that’s all the guys and gals know. They need to get with the civilian scene so that they can make it and do so with great success. Do it, please do it and get all the info you can” says Ms. Bulstrom.
