Amazing Grace

How can I describe American politics?  Picture a hunting “shoot” like those English royalty attend, beaters, someone to load your weapon, a tea cup at the ready and truckloads of game running and flying past you.  With our British cousins, it is tradition.  In America, following the “blooding,” we get politics.  Sitting around the fire we will find bankers for drug cartels, Washington political elites, the 3rd generation at the public trough, big oil, big defense scammers, one or two semi-literate supreme court justices and a presidential candidate.

The banter will be not unlike what goes on at a bloody divorce trial when both opposing counsel and the judge go to lunch together.

“How are we going to stick it to the suckers today?”
