Protect US Troops From Religious Wars

This Memorial Day weekend we’ll hear and see many events which promote the honoring of US military members who were killed in action, missing in action, wounded, those who simply served in the US military and those currently in the US military.

If we truly value all these people who belong to these military categories, we should question the US government on why the government is starting wars and sending our troops to fight, kill and die in these wars.

Currently the reason for the wars raging in the “holy” land and Middle East is religion. The biggest root of the problem which spreads out and spawns even more religious violence and war is the belief that God gave a gift of real estate to the Jews.

Israel’s current Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely used Judaism to “prove” that God gave all the land that is currently recognized by most people as Israel (Israel does not have any fixed borders which makes it easier for it to expand onto more Palestinian land) as well as all of Jerusalem, including Palestinian East Jerusalem, as well as the Palestinian West Bank which she refers to by its biblical names of Judea and Samaria, when she said,

“This land is ours. All of it is ours. We did not come here to apologize for that.”

She quoted from the writings of a medieval rabbi who is famous among Jews for his commentary on the Talmud and the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, Shlomo Yitzchaki, aka, Rashi.

She said, “Rashi says the Torah opens with the story of the creation of the world so that if the nations of the world come and tell you that you are occupiers, you must respond that all of the land belonged to the creator of world and when he wanted to, he took from them and gave to us.”

This strongly indicates Judaism teaches Jews that the entire world belongs to them as a gift from their Bible god. So when they’re done destroying the Palestinians, they’ll be turning their sights on other Gentile people.

This false religious belief that God chose the Jews “above all people that are upon the face of the earth” (Deuteronomy 7:6) and the above mentioned nonsense from Talmudic rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki/Rashi that their god created the world and that their god takes from Gentiles and gives to Jews is the reason for the brutal and illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine.

The Israeli occupation is Jewish religious violence against the Palestinian people who are largely made up of Muslims and Christians. Violence begets violence. This is seen when Muslims attack Israel and its allies such as the US who are helping the Jewish state in its illegal occupation and religious violence.

The reason for the US supporting the Israeli occupation and giving Israel BILLIONS of US tax dollars every year (currently US politicians are taking from Americans and giving to Israel $8.5 million EVERY DAY) is the careerist US politicians who think much more of their political careers than they do the United States and its people.

The soulless politicians know that if they want to win the next election they need the support of the overly powerful Israel lobby.

To win the support of the Israel lobby they must sell out their people and nation to the Jewish state. The last US leader to try to stop this sell-out of Americans and America’s interests to the Jewish state was John F. Kennedy who in 1960 was approached by wealthy Jews who told him they knew his campaign was in financial trouble and if he promised them that as president he “would allow them to set the course of Middle East policy over the next four years” they would donate significantly to his presidential campaign.

This arrogance and underhandedness angered Kennedy who then decided to overhaul the US electoral system in a way that would have the U.S. Treasury pay a set and equal amount for all politicians running for president who secured a to be determined percentage of signatures of people supporting their campaign.

The control the Israel lobby enjoys of the US Congress and the vast majority of US politicians from both parties enables it to make real its warmongering dreams. The Israel lobby working hand in hand with the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament based neoconservative movement and Zionist Christians like Pat Robertson and John Hagee made the US war against Iraq a reality.

The Iraq war was ostensibly fought to protect Americans and America from Iraq’s nuclear, biological and chemical weapons of mass destruction. But, taking the advice of the Western philosophers who represent Athens in the life or death struggle between Athens and Jerusalem, the advice to see things as they REALLY ARE, we see Iraq did not have any type of WMD and was not a threat at all to America and Americans.

The REAL reason US politicians started the Iraq War was to protect Israel while promoting their own political careers through the Israel lobby. These same destructive forces are currently working hard to promote another religious war for Israel’s benefit against Iran.

The Deist George Washington warned us about influence of foreign nations. He said, “Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence (I conjure you to believe me, fellow-citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake, since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government.

But that jealousy to be useful must be impartial; else it becomes the instrument of the very influence to be avoided, instead of a defense against it. Excessive partiality for one foreign nation and excessive dislike of another cause those whom they actuate to see danger only on one side, and serve to veil and even second the arts of influence on the other.

Real patriots who may resist the intrigues of the favorite are liable to become suspected and odious, while its tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of the people, to surrender their interests.”

It is wrong for American troops to be used for the benefit of a foreign power and the politicians in its pay. If we really do value our military and the people in it, we will do all we can to educate everyone possible about these warmongering forces and the damage they cause.

This Memorial Day weekend make it a point to talk to people about how our military is being misused and abused by a foreign power, by religious fanatics and by traitors in Congress.
