NATO on offensive for Ukraine-Russia war: Analyst
Press TV, Tehran … with Jim W. Dean, VT Editor
[Note: The horrible photos coming out from Gaza played a key role in the most opposition that we have seen from the World public in years. We shall pray that the anger does not fizzle, but I worry. No one is really pushing for sanctions, and that is key to any settlement.
The world Jewish community has been very big on reparations, even transgenerational. When they find the shoe on the other foot, and their own example as a justification for it, I think it will twist their shorts up in a knot, and deservingly so.]

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is actively seeking to trigger a war between Russia and Ukraine, an analyst writes for Press TV.
“NATO has morphed from a defense alliance into an offensive one…. It knows the Russians have not moved armor into East Ukraine, and NATO has lied over and over about Russian military status on Ukraine border, which independent observers have exposed over and over,” Jim Dean wrote in a column for the Press TV website.
The analyst was referring to NATO’s claims that Russia has amassed tens of thousands of troops on the border with Ukraine.
Dean said NATO’s anti-Russia actions under the pretext of safeguarding Ukraine’s sovereignty have “morphed into a national security threat, which opened the doors to both covert and overt military action.”
He added that the July downing of the MH17 flight, which left nearly 300 dead, was a “geopolitical false flag that was supposed to trigger more public support for NATO’s anti-Russian moves.”
Dean said the US-led alliance along with Europe have “created the battleground on Russia’s border” in an attempt to revive the “Cold War Big Game.”
Ukraine’s mainly Russian-speaking regions in the east have witnessed deadly clashes between pro-Russia protesters and the Ukrainian army since the government in Kiev launched military operations in mid-April.
The fighting has intensified since July 17, when a Malaysian airliner carrying 298 people on board was downed in the Donetsk region with Kiev and pro-Russians accusing each other of being behind the tragedy.
A United Nations official warned earlier this week that the humanitarian situation in eastern Ukraine is getting worse on a daily basis as the war between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russians rages on.
