Egypt’s genocide

Is the so-called “war on terror” really a genocidal war on Islam – part of the New World Order’s larger attempt to destroy religion and spirituality?

Is the Pope Catholic?

The War on Islam is raging in Egypt, where the systematic torture and murder of peaceful, democratic Islamic activists – a genocide that has lasted more than half a century – is accelerating under the hideously brutal regime of Israeli agent al-Sisi.

USAF veteran Mahmoud El-Youssef recently protested the mass death sentence of 683 peaceful activists with this letter to the editor:

Dear Editor,

In defiance with the basic element of democracy, and complete contempt for the most basic principles of fair trial, an Egyptian judge sentenced 683 people to death.

All of the defendants are alleged supporters of Mohammad Morsi, Egypt’s first democratically elected president. Only 148 defendants were present inside the court when the sentences were read. The judge issued his ruling during an 8-minute trial with no argument for the defense.

The crime of the defendants was for the storming of a police station and the killing of a police officer. This took place in the Summer of 2013 after the Head of the Egyptian Military, General Sisi, removed president Morsi from power in a military coup.

After Egyptians took the streets to protest the military takeover, Egyptian security forces used deadly force to break up a sit-in held by president Morsi’s supporters. According to many independent sources, over 1000 Egyptian protesters were killed in cold blood. No one was held accountable or even faced trial as result of that massacre.

Among the injured protesters of that massacre was a central Ohioan, Mohammad Sultan, who suffered a severe hand injury. Mr. Sultan has been held without charges in a Cairo jail for nearly one year.

Sultan may also face the death sentence one day if his continued and unfair detention is not challenged. Red-blooded Americans should be outraged over the abuse and mistreatment Sultan has been subjected to by Egyptian authorities, and they should demand of The White House (202-456-1414), the U.S. Department of State ( 202-647-7602), and their U.S. Representatives Sultan’s immediate and unconditional release.

Sincerely, Mahmoud El-Yousseph Retired USAF Veteran

Islam is under special attack because it is the “last religion standing.” All of the other faiths have succumbed, to a greater or lesser extent, to the cancer of materialist consumerism under the satanic reign of usury. Only Islam still dreams of a different world – a world in which spirituality, not money, rules.

And only Islam can muster millions of people who, under the right circumstances, would be willing to put their lives on the line to dethrone the usurers and institute a society in which spiritual development is the ultimate aim.

Below are some of my reflections on the War on Islam, extracted from a forthcoming book entitled Defending the Sacred: Toward a Civil Global Dialogue. I will be showcasing the new book at the Festival of the Grand Prize of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) – May 23rd through 27th in Tehran.

Are the attacks on the Prophet part of a cultural genocide attempt aimed at annihilating the religion and culture of Islam? Many Muslims think so. According to a 2007 poll of four Muslim-majority countries by World Public Opinion, four out of five Muslims believe the United States seeks to weaken and divide the Islamic world.i

The notion that elements of the West are waging war on Islam is not limited to Muslims. US President George W. Bush announced on September 16th, 2001: “This crusade, this war on terrorism is going to take a while. And the American people must be patient. I’m going to be patient.”ii By announcing a long-term “crusade” (holy war against Islam) just five days after the September 11th incident, a “crusade” that would be hidden beneath the euphemism “war on terrorism,” Bush seemingly let slip the real agenda.

But Bush’s slip of the tongue was too subtle for some, who would have preferred a more unambiguous announcement that the West was declaring a long-term war against the religion and culture of Islam. James Schall, then a Professor of Government at Georgetown University and a Hoover Institution associate, explained: “I always thought it was a mistake not to say what Iraq really was, that is, a war against an expanding Islam.”iii

At first glance, Schall’s assertion that the US invasion of Iraq was “a war against an expanding Islam” seems questionable. After all, the American invaders overthrew Saddam Hussein’s Ba’ath Party, a secularist regime dominated by such high-profile Iraqi Christians as Tariq Aziz, and opened the door to a more religiously-oriented Islamic government. How could overthrowing secularists and replacing them with more explicitly Islamic rulers be part of a war on Islam?

The likely answer: The Iraq war was intended as a psychological blow against the Islamic world. The penetration and desecration of Mesopotamia, historically near the heart of the Islamic ummah, by non-Muslim aggressors from halfway around the world was designed to deliver a message to the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims: “We Westerners can invade, occupy, and destroy you at will. There is nothing you can do to defend yourself, your women, your family, your community, or your religion.” Like the Zionist annihilation of Palestine, the American destruction of Iraq – the most technologically, scientifically, and educationally advanced Arab country – was intended to induce in Muslims a sense of learned helplessness, by convincing them that they cannot protect what they value the most.iv

Any doubts about whether the US attack on Iraq was a psychological war of desecration and desolation aimed at the whole Islamic world were laid to rest by the Abu Ghraib scandal. The leaked pictures of sexual abuse of prisoners, and the news that innumerable far worse photos existed, were a calculated psychological attack on the religion and culture of Islam. The strategists behind this operation appear to have been Israelis.
