The Jesuits Take Over the Nation
By Michael Shrimpton
The appointment of Pope Francis was the worst thing the Vatican could have done. For over 450 years they’ve been able to keep the Jesuits out of the Papacy. Now they’ve taken over. Since they call their Superior General “the Black Pope” and Catholic Popes have traditionally been referred to as “the White Pope” perhaps the new Pope’s cassock should have been grey!
It is now clear to see why poor old Pope Benedict was forced out. Reporting suggests that there is a link to the theft of private papers from the papal apartments.
I respectfully count myself as an admirer of Benedict XVI. He is a much nicer man than his critics will ever admit. His visit to Britain was a huge success. Ties between my country and Vatican City undoubtedly grew warmer as a result.
The election of Francis has threatened all that. His incredibly ill-advised support for Argentine aggression against the Falklands has revived bitter memories of Vatican support for the dictators in the 1930s. Big question marks remain over the new Pope’s relationship with the brutal junta which ruled over Argentina with an iron first in the 1970s.
It is not surprising that the Cameron government downgraded British representation at yesterday’s Inauguration Mass. Ken Clarke QC is a nice enough chap with respect, but he is minister without portfolio for a reason (no one could find a portfolio he couldn’t make a mess of). Baroness Warsi is on her way out and is unlikely to be offered a Cabinet role in the new government, i.e. after Cameron is forced out.
I suspect the UK will be forced to break off diplomatic relations with the Vatican. We are headed for the biggest Catholic-Protestant bust-up since the Thirty Years War.
Strictly the Jesuits are not Catholics. They don’t really see themselves as part of the Catholic Church. Even now they are likely to see Pope Francis as number two in the Jesuit hierarchy. Religion has never been a core function of the order. It provides a convenient cover for its intelligence and banking activities.
It was set up to respond to Martin Luther and the Reformation, in order keep the temporal power of the Church intact. The connections between the Jesuits, India and China go deep. The Jesuits also helped start World War 1, as I explain in Syhunter. Princip was their man.
They are deeply anti-British, and anti-American. Their support for Argentina in 1982 and since comes as no surprise.
I expect the Church of England will now come under pressure to break off the ‘unity’ talks with the Vatican. We are also going to have to look at the new rules on Succession to the Crown. What might have been acceptable with a nice Pope on the Throne of St Peter is no longer acceptable with a Jesuit.
