CALL FOR ACTION IS NEEDED BY NOT JUST VETERANS BUT CIVILIANS!
The Hill in DC is back. Below is a list of Bills that the House VA Committee has on its plate currently. What you need to do!
1. Review the list, be informed, identify those bills you want your congressman to definitely support! Email them and let them know you are watching and you are informed! Let them know you expect them to be cosponsors if they are not and which bills they need to cosponsor!
2. Also review the list and identify the gaps! Let your congressman or congresswoman know what is missing and suggest they introduce a bill to cover the gap!
For example, presumptions for gulf war veterans, needs of gulf war veterans children, needs of gulf war veterans(90-91) ie more in home help for those that are chronically ill or those that need scooters and are getting the run around! Needs of Gulf War Veteran families ie support and counseling for spouses having to deal with a person who is chronically ill from environmental exposures.
All of you can help identify gaps!
3. Talk about it in the area for comments below the article! That way we can all help and inform our congressman or congresswoman of the needs for other bills to be introduced. You can not just complain and not be part of the solution!
4. If you are on facebook, make your updates on your status count and address this information, much more important than playing games on facebook or daily updates on watchng sports! Add the information to your facebook page under notes and share with others.
5. For Civilians that care, get informed and do the same steps! Your veterans need your help and involvement! YOUR VETERANS HAVE PUT THEIR LIVES AT RISK THIS IS THE LEAST YOU CAN DO: HELP SPEAK UP FOR THEM!
