Former official confirms CIA bomber was Jordanian – Associated Press

The Associated Press reported minutes ago in a story entitled Former official confirms CIA bomber was Jordanian that the man who blew himself up and took seven CIA agents and one Jordanian senior intelligence operative with him into death was a 36 year old Jordanian doctor named Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi . So much for our theories about Al Qaeda, the Taliban or anyone else. 

We cannot keep allied operatives from killing us. He was double agent…of….exactly who?  Or should I say Who?  Allah? The Mahdi?

Are we starting to get it now?  Like it or not, fair or not, true or not, Muslims throughout the world see our wars in the Middle East and western Asia as a Crusade against Islam.  We can deny this until we are blue in the face, but Muslims do not believe us.  They will kill themselves in explosions to kill us because they see this as a gateway to martyrdom and Paradise in the Hereafter.  We cannot fight that.

Oh and one other thing you should know.  The doctor was working for Jordanian Intelligence.  He was an operative.  Allegedly we understood him to be on our side!

It is time that we completely re-evaluated who we are, what we are doing and why we are doing it. 

Like it or not, whether we wish to admit it or not, we have interjected our presence into an ongoing and brutal series of wars based on Muslim theology and basically pitting ultra-fundamentalists Wahabists against secularists within Islam itself. 

We are without doubt involved in a situation in which we cannot control the outcome or even the parameters.  We are at best a side issue with these people.  They have ancient scores to settle with each other over Koranic interpretation, tribal rivalries, ancient blood vendettas and oil/mineral rights.  We are simply in the way.

We are not smart enough yet to see that.

This insanity among Muslims fighting over doctrine and dogma within the Koran does not concern us.  Our national security can be defended without widening our involvement in these brutal religious wars.

Do we get it now?

Or do we have to wait for even more "double agents" of Allah to blow themselves up and take highly trained American personnel with them into Paradise?

Are we starting to understand?  I hope so.
