Field Service Technician –
Job Description:
Become an expert in Compac systems and equipment, as A Field Service Technician. As Compac continues to grow they are looking to hire even more awesome people to join their Global Services Team.
Compac is seeking candidates who have:
A minimum of three years relevant experience servicing complex precision equipment
A high degree of computer literacy
Outstanding customer service and experience working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics or similar experience
Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills to talk through technical issues and train customers in using their equipment
The ability to travel globally
Sales Engineer –
Job Description:
They are looking for a motivated senior Sales Engineer to produce optimal performance post-harvest solutions for Compac’s customers. Based in their Visalia office, you’ll be analyzing customers’ requirements, working on layouts and concept designs for turnkey projects, producing pricing sheets, specifying & negotiating with 3rd party suppliers for peripheral equipment, and a host of other detailed tasks.
A successful candidate will need to have the following:
Engineering qualification and experience
Solid AutoCad and PC skills (especially Excel)
Proven experience at providing solutions to clients
Good organizational & time management skills
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Willingness to travel within the US and overseas
Experience in the post-harvest or materials handling industries would be advantageous
