The source said that very good cooperation and coordination among the Syrian armed forces, Hezbollah and the Russian air force, along with widening gaps, disunity and hopelessness among the ranks of the militants, promise the imminent liberation of the Northern province of Aleppo.
In mid-October, several fighters of the Lebanese Hezbollah arrived in Aleppo to join the Syrian army to carry out a large-scale anti-militant operation in the Northern city of Aleppo in the coming days with the Russian aerial backup.
The sources said at the time that after the victories of the Syrian army and Hezbollah in Zabadani and conclusion a six-month-long ceasefire agreement with the militants in the nearby areas of Syria-Lebanon border, a 200-member group of Hezbollah fighter has been dispatched to the battlefronts in Aleppo.
The sources said that the experienced fighters of Hezbollah, the Syrian army troops and the Russia air force are to carry out a massive joint operation to recapture Aleppo, the second important city in Syria, in the coming day.
On Saturday, Syrian Army and Hezbollah troops purged all militants from Khan Touman in the Northern province of Aleppo, and seized full control over the town after killing or wounding a large number of the terrorists.
The Syrian army launched a military operation against the ISIL terrorists earlier today, and regained control of 4 checkpoints and a 10-kilometer segment of Khanasser-Ithriya Highway, a field commander told FNA at around midday.
Earlier today the Army had informed that its forces alongside the Lebanese Hezbollah fighters were only one kilometer away from the strategic road, reminding that control over the strategic road would cut off the terrorists’ supply line in Aleppo province.
The source said that the army troops and Hezbollah forces, backed by the Russian fighter jets, stormed the Takfiri militants’ positons near the road in Khanasser countryside and killed scores of them.
The sources added that if the government forces retake control over the road the supplying route of the Aleppo militants from Hama and Raqqa provinces will be cut.
On Thursday, the Syrian army troops targeted ISIL positions along the Khanasser-Ithriya road, killing a large group of terrorists. The Syrian army, backed by Russian warplanes, attacked ISIL positions along the Khanasser-Ithriya road, and killed dozens of militants, informed sources said.
Also on Wednesday, the Syrian army, backed by the National Defense Forces, regained full control of Ithriya-Salamiyah Highway, and killed scores of the terrorists.

The sources further added that the government forces are not very far from the airbase and are soon to end the over two-year-long siege on Kuweires.
On Wednesday, the army and NDF continued their operations against ISIL militants’ positions in Deir Hafer plains East of Aleppo to lay the ground for the complete removal of the over two-year long siege on Kuweires airbase. The ISIL strongholds near the town of Sheikh Ahmad and near the strategic airbase of Kuweires were stormed by the Syrian army troops and the NDF fighters.
The army units destroyed the terrorists’ positions in an area near the Sa’ad ibn Abi Vaqqas Grand Mosque, Yarmouk School and stone factory in Daraa al-Balad in Northern parts of Daraa city. The Syrian troops also destroyed the terrorists’ positions in the Southern parts of Kharbe Ghazaleh town.
Meantime, Syrian MP Faisal Azour said that the Syrian army’s advances in the South and frequent defeats of terrorists all indicate the terrorist groups have been defeated, specially in Daraa. Military sources said that the ongoing clashes in Daraa will continue until the terrorists are fully defeated.
On Friday, large groups of militants were reportedly killed in a Syrian army offensive in the Daraa. The army targeted terrorists’ positions in Mukhayam al-Nazihin neighborhood in Daraa city, killing all members of a terrorist group and destroying their weapons and munitions. The Syrian troops also destroyed militants’ positions in the areas of Daraa al-Mahata area and Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city.
Also on Friday, all members of a terrorist group were killed in the Syrian Army attack in Western parts of Mzeirib town in Daraa province, local officials declared.
The sources said that the militants’ gathering centers in the Northwestern parts of Daraa in Mzeirib town were massively raided by the army troops, leaving all members of the group dead.
The sources said that the militants of al-Nusra Front and Jeish al-Islam sustained heavy casualties in the government forces’ offensive and fled the battlefield after leaving over 56 dead members behind.
The Syrian forces also retook full control over new blocks of buildings in Nawla in Eastern Ghouta from the militants after killing and wounding scores of them.
On Friday, the army announced that its forces’ operations near Darayya town in Damascus countryside resulted in the killing of at least nine militants and wounding of many others.
The sources said that the strongholds of Ajnad al-Sham near Darayya came under attack of the Syrian army troops, and left over nine terrorists dead and some others wounded.
The sources said that the militants’ centers in Deir al-Asafir, 12 kilometers Southeast of Damascus, were bombed by the Syrian fighter jets, which resulted in destruction of their camp’s infrastructure and the killing of tens of militants.
Field sources announced on Saturday that militants’ strongholds in Douma came under the Syrian fighter jets’ attack, resulting in the killing of many terrorists.
The hideouts of Jeish al-Islam militants were heavily bombed by the Syrian warplanes in Douma in Damascus countryside, leaving scores of them dead or wounded, sources said.
Syrian fighter jets targeted Takfiri terrorists’ positions in Rasem al-Tina and al-Latamina in Hama countryside, informed sources said. The airstrikes also hit the militants’ positions in al-Mestriha and Maaret al-Noman in the countryside of Idlib. The air attacks killed scores of militants and destroyed their vehicles and weapons, the sources added.
Also on Saturday, the Russian air raids hit militants’ positions in Idlib Province, and killed dozens of terrorists. The Russian fighter jets conducted airstrikes on militant’s positions in al-Tamanah town in Idlib, killing scores of the Takfiri terrorists.
The Russian warplanes carried out successful sorties over the positions of the militant groups in Tal Maraq in Hama province, which resulted in destruction of parts of their stronghold and killing of over 20 of them.

The airstrikes also hit the militants’ positions in al-Mestriha and Maaret al-Noman in the countryside of Idlib. The air attacks killed scores of militants and destroyed their vehicles and weapons, the sources added.

Russian warplanes pounded the Takfiri terrorists’ positions in several towns in Daraa province, reports said Saturday, adding that the airstrikes pave the way for the Syrian army to recapture the towns.

The source said that most of the positions of the militant groups in the Northern Aleppo province were targeted and destroyed in the massive airstrikes of the Russian and Syrian air forces. The sources further added that the Saturday air attacks have considerably weakened the militants’ defense lines.
Syrian Army, Hezbollah Repel Terrorists’ Attacks from 3 Fronts in Aleppo Countryside
The Al-Nusra Front and Noureddin al-Zanki terrorist groups launched offensives against the Syrian army’s positions in the Eastern, Southern and Southwestern parts of the Aleppo countryside after they sustained heavy losses from the army and the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance forces on Friday.
Hundreds of Al-Nusra Front and Noureddin al-Zanki terrorists launched attacks from the direction of Jomieh al-Shavihneh, al-Fameli House, al-Layarmoun and al-Meem workshop against the Syrian army’s positions and destroyed an army tank with a US TOW missile. The Syrian army and Al-Quds forces also destroyed six tanks and DshK-equipped vehicles of the terrorists.
Meantime, another group of terrorists also launched attacks against the Syrian army’s positions in the city of Aleppo from al-Azamieh, Seif al-Dolla and al-Ramouseh regions as well as the Cement factory that was repelled. Also on Saturday, the Syrian Army and Hezbollah troops had purged all militants from Khan Touman, and seized full control over the town after killing or wounding a large number of the terrorists.
Reports said on Friday that the Syrian army troops and Hezbollah forces opened their way into the strategic town of Khan Touman, and after fierce clashes with the terrorists, the town came under full control of the government forces early on Saturday.
On Saturday, over eleven villages and towns were seized back in the joint operation of the Syrian army, Hezbollah, the National Defense Forces (NDF) and the Russian air force in the Southwestern parts of Aleppo province.
Jamima, Mariameen, Hadadi, Zahra’a, Hadidah, Maraen, Hamimeyeh, Hamidah, Hamidi, al-Meshrfeh and al-Sabhiyeh villages and towns were taken back from the terrorist groups by the government forces, sources said.
The sources further added that the militants have retreated from these areas so fast that they left behind scores of dead and wounded bodies.
The sources said that the Syrian Army troops launched a fresh round of operations to tighten the siege around the militants groups in al-Zahra region, inflicting heavy losses on the Takfiri terrorists.
Also on Saturday, the army, popular forces and Hezbollah fighters, backed up by Russian fighter bombers, are advancing against the ISIL terrorists in the surrounding areas of the Kuweires Airbase.
