I just watched Lady Gaga’s new video, “Til It Happens To You,” which she co-wrote with Jewish song writer Diane Warren. Warren has been called “the most important songwriter in the world” by Peter Reichardt, former Chairman of EMI Music Publishing.
What is the complaint in the video? Well, you be the judge:
So, we need to confront sexual assault on college campuses, say Gaga and Warren. It is bad, and something has to be done quickly. In their subterranean mind, it is a moral issue which must be confronted by any decent human being.
But again why don’t these people at least have one ounce of common sense? Is Gaga telling us that she is not part of the problem? Does she mean to tell us that going completely naked on stage around the world and in front of thousands upon thousands of young people help deter sexual titillation among men?
Why can’t Gaga pick up a copy of Euripdides’ The Bacchae and find out what happens when women leave their looms and begin to unleash sexual liberation and erotic lust into the culture? Doesn’t she know that it was also precisely what the American dancer Isadora Duncan did to corrupt the docile culture?[1]
Sexual liberation, says E. Michael Jones, is a form of political control because it takes morality out of the social, political, and natural order and replaces it with unbridled passion and lust, which darkens the mind and corrupts the very being of a person. It also has the potential to corrupt a culture. All you have to do is pay close attention to the writing and sexual acts of people like Inna Shevchenko, leader of the Femen group in Europe. And again Gaga suffers very badly here:

So, Lady Gaga and her boss stand against the moral order and expect to live happily ever after! St. Augustine would have said that this ain’t gonna happen. “Thus, a good man, though a slave, is free,” said Augustine. “But a wicked man, though a king, is a slave. For he serves, not one man alone, but, what is worse, as many masters as he has vices.”[2]
In other words, Lady Gaga and her bosses (the Dreadful Few) are slaves precisely because they are immoral and are unleashing their immoral behavior upon the culture. Moreover, Gaga and her bosses are intellectually crippled because they always end up contradicting themselves. This also goes back to something that Augustine has articulated in his meditation:
“All who desert you and set themselves up against you merely copy you in a perverse way; but by this very act of imitation they only show that you are the Creator of all nature and, consequently, that there is no place whatever where man may hide away from you.”[3]
