The United States and European Union have placed crippling economic sanctions on Syria based entirely on that nation’s military opposition to the ISIS and al Qaeda terror organizations.
Normally such a thing would seem strange, perhaps be noticed by the media and pointed out. Such is not the case, however. What we do have is “slam dunk” evidence of carefully controlled and orchestrated press serving the interests of terror groups the United States and NATO are officially at war against. Normally missing this might also be strange but not so much in recent years.
America is now admitting it is losing its “air war” against the Takfiris with up to 9 strikes a day, several of which accidentally hit forces allied with the US and others seemingly drop supplies to the enemy. That this is done so openly, not just the weak air war by the US but, as of last week, sending in the US backed Turkish Air Force which has yet to hit a single named ISIS target after over 600 sorties, but you see where this is going now.
The ability to lie at such a level, punish those who fight terrorism, provide air support and supply drops to the enemy, these things can only happen under some very nasty circumstances. It isn’t just the press that’s controlled but the governments as well. Whoever is backing the terrorists also seems to be pulling the strings in Washington, Ankara, Jerusalem, Paris and London.
Another story is due, from either the Washington Post or Wall Street Journal. They seem to be taking turns. One will publish a story about Syria using barrelbombs and poison gas while the other will unleash another tale of ISIS or the “Free Syrian Army” or both closing in on Damascus.
There is a problem, not only with the barrelbombs but the rest of it as well. You see, we get daily news out of Iraq, Syria and the Kurdish Regional Government, listing military actions each day, describing what has transpired, who was killed or captured, often giving names.
These places now under control of Syria, Iraq and the Kurds according to unrefuted published claims of the region’s governments actively opposing the Takfiris are places Americans are told are in the middle of ISIS controlled territory.
Someone is lying.
The “recent conquests” of ISIS and al Nusra are, it seems, not only many months, even years old, but quickly being reversed without or may we say “despite” involvement of NATO and Israel.
What is also clear to all but the US press is that Turkey is ISIS, so is Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The US has now forgiven al Qaeda and openly supports the nations that not only supply and fund ISIS but as with Israel and Turkey, the nations that give air and artillery support, safe haven as well, to ISIS forces.
You see, these news stories get out as well, the Israeli and Turkish air and artillery attacks on Syria or the Kurds, the C130 aircraft dropping supplies to ISIS fighters who move in and out of Turkey, Jordan and Israel like they live there, which of course they do.
Five years later, Syria is there, battered, millions living without clean water or electricity, Turkish planes overhead with NATO blessing bombing civilian targets, but Syria is there.
What is most curious is how the media continually turns to victories of ISIS or al Nusra, which the press is obliged to refer to as “al Qaeda.” Let’s visit this for a second shall we.
If al Qaeda is why we invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, if al Qaeda is who blew up the World Trade Center, then why are we, being the United States, fighting alongside them?
The US is certainly not bombing al Nusra. The US has never openly said they oppose al Nusra. This is a bit of a problem.
Then again we go to Yemen. The US there, alongside Saudi Arabia, is attacking the government on behalf of, yes we are seeing it again, al Qaeda. The US is supplying planes and bombs, air refueling and a sea blockade, in defense of al Qaeda.
When did al Qaeda become an American ally? Did I miss something? Then again, I believe that Victor Bout supplied the missile that hit the Pentagon on 9/11 but I have reputable and authoritative sources for that. Then again, whose diesel submarine, German built of course, provided the launch platform for that attack?
Is this why we have forgiven al Qaeda? Are we friends now? It seems so.
What we see below is a quiet day’s news stories outlining military action in Syria and Iraq. Every news service has these stories available. On behalf of ISIS, they have their own press organization in London, the “Syrian Observatory of Human Rights.”
What we don’t have are ISIS victories. Yes, they took Ramadi in March but are now being pushed back across all of Anbar by Iranian backed Iraqi “volunteers.” That can’t be reported in the western press, can it?
There are dozens of groups fighting against the Assad government including, were we to be honest, the Turkish army and air forces. Syria is holding captives not only from Turkey but Saudi Arabia and Qatar as well, army officers captured in Uniform inside Syria. That is never reported either.
There seems to be a narrative that must be supported. The pattern has long been established, yes by the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, CNN and the Washington Post. Talking points are received, the accusations are made:
- Syria is using poison gas despite a deluge of evidence that all poison gas is manufactured or transited through Turkey.
- Damascus will fall any day now despite the Syrian Army winning battle after battle and pushing back terror forces
- Iraq will be splintered and given to the Saudis to rule despite their recent victories as well.
Take a look at a day in the war. Does it sound like anyone is quitting quite yet, other than the United States?
Provinces, SANA- The Syrian Arab Arab Army and Air force continued Sunday combating terrorism, with all its organizations and mercenaries, all over the country, establishing control over some areas and killing terrorists and destroying their vehicles and weapons in others.
Lattakia
At least 20 terrorists killed, including Turkish ones
The army air force carried out a series of airstrikes on Jabhat al-Nusra and terrorist organizations’ dens and gatherings in the villages of Beit Ablaq, Beit Awan and al-Durra in the northern countryside of Lattakia province, a military source told SANA.
At least 20 terrorists were killed and their ammunition loaded- vehicle was destroyed.
The Turkish terrorist called (Mohammad Bureik) and the self claimed leader of a terrorist group (Ubada al-A’awar) were among the killed terrorists.
Idleb
Army establishes full control over Tal A’awar
A military source in Idleb announced Sunday that the army established full control over Tal A’awar in the southwestern countryside of Idleb.
The source told SANA that army units in Idleb countryside assumed full control over the strategic Tal A’awar after launching concentrated operations.
Army operations resulted in the killing of scores of terrorists of the so called Jaish al- Fateh, while the rest fled leaving their weapons and ammunition behind.
The source added that the army pursued the terrorists who fled in the adjacent hills and areas, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
Meanwhile, field sources told SANA that the army units destroyed terrorist organizations’ hideouts in al-Zawiya Mountain, killing a number of their members, among them terrorists Abdullah Howidari, Abdo al-Wahab Ahmad Staif , Amin Mohammad Amin al-Abdo, Mohammad Hassan Abdel-Majid al-Lehya, Aabdel-Rahman Subhi al-Shaaban and Mustafa Abdel-Aziz Ismael.
The source added that a clash erupted among the terrorist groups resulted in the killing of scores of their members.
Whereas, the source stressed the killing of the military leader of the so-called Ajnad al- Sham, the Saudi terrorist Abu Allaith al-Muhajer and terrirists Loae adel Halaq and Ahmad Tahha al-Hamoud at the surroundings of al-Ziyadiyeh village .
Terrorist organizations admitted on their social media website the killing of dozens of their members, among them Mohammad Talal Derbas, Mohammad Abdel-Salam al-Mousa, Yousef Ahmad al-Jark, Mohammad Wahid al-Rabie, Barakat al-Braik,. Samer Salameh, Sabah Mustafa al-Sayyed Yousef, Mahmoud Abdel-Razzak Jalo, Ali al-Damour, Ghassan al-Rashid, Abdullah Hani Eido, Suhaib Jouiriyeh, Sarya Sayyed Issa, Mamdoh Shhaibar and the Saudi terrorist Abdel-Majid al -Mtairi.
Homs
The army air force on Sunday destroyed the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” terrorist organization’s hideouts and armored vehicles, killing a number of its members at the entrance of Wadi al-Mask and Wadi Abyad Dam in the countryside of Palmyra, in the central province of Homs.
The army air force raided ISIS positions at the surroundings of Palmyra city, killing a number of them and destroying their vehicles, weapons and ammunition.
In other air raids against the ISIS hideouts at the surroundings of al-Sukhne town, 70 km east of Palmyra city, the army air force killed and injured a number of the ISIS terrorists and destroyed their machineguns-equipped vehicles.
Damascus Countryside
Amounts of stolen medical equipments seized in al-Zabadani
An army unit in cooperation with Lebanese resistance seized, while chasing a terrorist group, in Zabadani in Damascus Countryside, a den for terrorists containing stolen medical equipments and medicine, killed a number of terrorists and detained one of them, a military source told SANA.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of many of their members in al-Zabadani including Radwn Mohamed Alloush, Ramiz Mahmoud and Adib Mahomud.
Quneitra
An army unit carried out last night special operations on Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ dens and movements in Jabatta al- Khashab village in the countryside of the southern Quneitra province .
A number of terrorists were killed and injured after monitoring their gatherings and movements in the square of Jabatta al-Khashab village and near al-Zera’a woodlands.
Daraa
Army kills Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Khirbet Ghazaleh
Daraa, SANA – An army unit clashed with Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to the south of the southern bridge of Khirbet Ghazaleh village in the northeastern countryside of the southern province of Daraa, a military source told SANA Sunday.
The source added that the clash resulted in the killing of a number of terrorists and the destruction of a number of their weapons and ammunition.
The army inflicted heavy losses upon the Takfiri terrorist organization in personnel and equipment, while one of their hideouts was destroyed in the army operation to the west of Atman town in the countryside of the province.
Another army unit carried out direct blows against terrorist organizations movements and positions in al-Kark neighborhood, to the west of Bilal al-Habashi Mosque in the neighborhood of Daraa al-Balad.
The source added that the army strikes resulted in the killing and injuring of a number of terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called Liwa Tawhid al-Janoub, MujaHidee Horan Battalions, and Sijil Artillery Battalion.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists were pushed back from all areas in Hasaka city and tens of foreign-backed militants were killed and dozens more injured.
Also in the past 24 hours, the foreign-backed Takfiri militants suffered more losses in Hama as the Syrian army continued their advances.
The army destroyed a concentration center of the Takfiri militants in al-Madeq citadel town to the Northwest of Hama, informed sources said.
Scores of terrorists were killed in the operation, including a senior commander nicknamed “Abu al-Dardar”.
Meantime, Syria’s popular defense forces of the Shiite-populated town of Foa killed nearly two dozen Takfiri terrorists and injured many more.
At least 23 Al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed in Foa town in Idlib countryside.
The Syrian popular defense forces also seized the nearby town of Kafria.
The operations by the Syrian popular forces came after they found out about the terrorists’ intention to dig tunnels in Foa and Kafria.
Some 50 Takfiri militants were killed in Syrian air raids in the countryside of Lattakia on Saturday.
Also, Syria’s Al-Qaeda affiliate, al-Nusra Front, claimed to have captured a number of rival militants.
A statement from the terrorist group warned others against taking part in “the American project”.
On Friday, al-Nusra Front attacked Division 30’s base in Northern Syria.
Five of the group’s militants were killed and several more wounded in the clashes, Division 30 said in a statement.
Al-Nusra’s statement did not say how many Division 30 fighters had been captured, or when they were taken.
Division 30 were trained by US.
Elsewhere, Syrian air strikes pounded the supply routes of al-Nusra Front and other terrorist groups in the countryside of Aleppo on Saturday.
A military source said that the air raids hit positions and supply routes of the Takfiri terrorist groups on the direction of Bshantara –Kafr Dael in the Western countryside of Aleppo.
The source added that a convoy of terrorists’ vehicles was destroyed in the air attacks. All terrorists onboard were killed.
The Syrian Army stormed the strongholds of al-Nusra Front in various parts of the Southern province of Dara’a, specially near the city of Dara’a and killed at least 100 of them, sources said.
The military sources said that the country’s army, in massive operation against the rebel groups, killed more than a hundred terrorists in Dara’a city, al-Meleiha al-Gharbiya and the Eastern outskirts of the city.
In its offensives the army destroyed hideouts of al-Nusra Front and al-Muthanna Islamic Movement in the Southeastern part of al-Meleiha al-Gharbiya in the Northeast countryside of Dara’a city.
The air raids hit hideouts and concentration centers of terrorists in Dweirshan, al-Rawda, al-Wadi and al-Durra in the Northern countryside of Lattakia, killing 50 Takfiri militants, most of them foreign militants.
Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 230,000 people, according to reports. New figures show that over 76,000 people, including thousands of children, lost their lives in Syria last year.
Over 3.8 million Syrians have left their country since the beginning of the crisis. According to reports, more than seven million Syrians have become internally displaced.
The army units took control of the towns of Tal Hakma, Tal Awar and Marj al-Zahour in Idlib province, Northwestern Syria.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more injured in fierce clashes with the Syrian troops while a large number of them fled the scene.
The Syrian army is now advancing towards the towns of Farika and al-Qahera.
Earlier this week, a notorious Saudi ringleader of Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group, was killed in Idlib province.
Abdulrahman al-Khazir, a high-profile senior commander of the Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group, was killed in fierce clashes with the volunteer forces in the al-Sawaqiye region near the al-Fooheh town in North of Idlib city.
FNA dispatches from the region said bloody clashes are underway between the foreign-backed Takfiri terrorist group and the popular forces as the joint troops of Ahrar al-Sham and Al-Nusra Front have kept the siege of Al-Fooheh and Kafria towns.
The reports also said that the volunteer forces destroyed a militants’ tank and its crew.
Idlib has been under the Takfiri terrorists’ heavy missile and mortar attacks in recent months.
Syria has been battling foreign-sponsored militants since March 2011. The violence fueled by Takfiri terrorist groups, including al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham, has so far left over 3,000 people of al-Fooheh and Kafria dead.
The sources said that the Syrian fighter jets pounded the strongholds of the ISIL group in Jazal and East of al-Heer al-Gharbi castle near Palmyra in Homs province, which resulted in the killing and wounding of tens of terrorists.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.
Senior Syrian and Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.
The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
Informed sources said that the Syrian Air Forces hit a long convoy of al-Nusra Front’s vehicles on one of the main supply route of the rebels near Bshantara and Kafr Dael in the Western part of the province.
The sources added that the rebel supply route was cut in the airstrike and several fighters were killed and injured.
On Friday, infighting intensified among the Takfiri terrorist groups after their recent defeats in the Western side of Aleppo.
The bloody clashes erupted between the Al-Nusra Front and ‘Division 30’ terrorist groups on Friday after they both failed to take control of the Western parts of Aleppo city which is currently under the Syrian army’s control.
“The Al-Nusra attacked at dawn the headquarters of Division 30, near the town of Azaz in the northern province of Aleppo,” said the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) in a statement.
Tens of Takfiri terrorists have been killed in militants’ repeated raids on the Western parts of Aleppo city in the last few days.
Syria has been engulfed in civil war since March 2011. Damascus has been engaged in battles on multiple fronts, against the so-called moderate opposition and numerous extremist insurgent groups, including the Al-Nusra Front and ISIL militant groups.
