Veterans’ benefits are the focus of a free event next week at the Salem Convention Center.
The Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs is hosting the Veteran Benefit Expo, where veterans and their families can explore the variety of benefits available to them, such as health care, compensation, education, employment, long-term care and more.
It is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at the convention center, 200 Commercial St. SE.
Veterans will have direct access to experts in these fields.
