St. Regis premiers ‘A Postcard from Istanbul’ by John Malkovich

The St.Regis Hotel and Resorts have recently launched a thought-provoking film celebrating the beautiful Turkish city of Istanbul. The film has been released in collaboration with the opening of St.Regis’ latest addition of luxury hotels and resorts in the city. The trailer of the film which is entitled ‘A Postcard from Istabul’, has been made by awards winning actor and director John Malkovich and sees a couple exploring the cities rich culture and history.
 
The concept of ‘Postcards from Istanbul’ is seeking out inspiration amongst the city. Many of Istanbul’s amazing historical landmarks were featured in the film along with the beautiful new St. Regis hotel. The trailer thoroughly catches the audience’s attention as “I am listening to Istanbul” is echoed throughout the trailer, whilst capturing the beautiful scenery as appreciated through the eyes of the couple who are intently soaking up the city.
 
Wondrous history is captured on the film and showcasing the cities remarkable landmarks such as the Aya Sofya and the Blue Mosque. These are both must-see’s on a visit to Istanbul as they offer some of the most amazing architectural sights as well as having beautiful interior features and exudes history.  Other iconic views explored in the film was the Bosphorus strait which prominently divides Europe to Asia. The waterfront views are not to be missed, especially in the evening when it’s utterly mesmerizing and magical.
 
It’s clear that the city of Istanbul oozes gorgeous sights and historical landmarks which will no doubt be perfect for inspiring visitors.
