Netanyahu Pushing the US Congress for a US War Against Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu meet with his fawning fans in the US Congress yesterday. The soulless and treasonous

politicians applauded so hard for Netanyahu they broke C-Span’s sound equipment as Jon Stewart pointed out in a humorous and thought provoking video segment on his March 3, 2015 program of The Daily Show! A total of 57 members of Congress, 56 Democrats and one Independent, boycotted Netanyahu’s warmongering speech. It will be interesting to see how much longer the political careers of these brave souls last.

One troubling and very dangerous statement made by Netanyahu in his speech and which has become a standard mantra for US politicians of both parties, including Barack Obama, is “The remarkable alliance between Israel and the United States has always been above politics.”

The fact that Obama and the Democrats parrot this same Israel over all line indicates Obama and Netanyahu are not really opposed to each other as the media reports. Here’s an article that lists five reasons there is no important difference between Obama and Netanyahu.

The belief that US support for the Jewish state is “above politics” means it cannot change. This is very beneficial to Israel and very detrimental to America and the rest of the world. The bully of the Middle East, Israel, will continue to cause unnecessary religious wars as they did regarding Iraq and as they’re trying now regarding Iran. They will continue to expand their illegal occupation of Palestine and continue their heartless and brutal subjugation of the Palestinian people. Their very real growing stockpile of nuclear weapons (which Obama never even mentioned) will continue unabated as will their delivery systems including their expanding fleet of submarines.

One thing Netanyahu has is consistency. Of course, it’s consistency in lying motivated by his ungodly desire to start a war in which the US will fight for the benefit of his Jewish state of Israel as was done during the war against Iraq which was also for Israel’s security. In his speech to Congress yesterday he claimed Iran will have a nuclear bomb in less than a year. In 1992 Netanyahu claimed Iran would have nuclear weapons in “three to five years.”

Not all Americans are silent sheep being led to their kosher slaughter. Five Americans were arrested demonstrating against the strongest branch of the overly powerful Israel lobby, AIPAC, last week in Washington. They were working with the peace group Code Pink. Wouldn’t it be great if veteran’s groups and members of the US military regularly demonstrated against AIPAC events and offices and against US politicians who blindly sacrifice the lives of American military members for the benefit of Israel and of their own political careers? Perhaps then they would stop, or at least reduce, the $8.5 million they give to Israel every day in military aid alone.

It’s important to realize Netanyahu was not attempting to get approval for Israel to attack Iran. He wants his goys in the US military to do it. He is following the proven method Israel used to get US politicians to use American troops to fight Israel’s enemies. Netanyahu knows the extent of the grip Israel has through the Israel lobby and the Jewish dominated media in the US on the necks of the politicians. Israel can sit back and let the war between Gentiles begin. This was reflected prior to the war against Iraq when retired Israeli General Avraham Rotem said, ‘A (US) war with Iraq serves Israel’s strategic interests because it wants Saddam gone. Someone says, ‘You sit back, we’ll take care of it’–what’s better than that?’ (St. Petersburg Times, March 15, 2003, p. 5A).

As the American founder and Deist Thomas Paine wrote, “We have it in our power to begin the world over again.” It all depends on us and what actions we take.
