RE: … massacring, torturing, raping, imprisonment, slaughtering of several hundred thousand innocent Afghan/pashtun villagers are war crimes and human rights violations. These war crimes must stop.

The Pashtun, who are the largest tribe in the world, do not have a leader to speak for them. As a Pashtun I need to speak out regarding the war crimes being committed against my tribe. Pashtun tribal leaders , young educated Pashtun college students, and Afghan religious scholars are being ethnically targeted and killed. It is genocide. Despite what is in the media, the war in Afghanistan is still continuing . The United States is allowing the minority/Northern Alliance, the warlord and the drug traffickers, to commit war crimes against the Pashtun people and religious scholars. The prison is full of Pashtun, who are the native majority of Afghanistan. The Pashtun villages are repeatedly bulldozed and destroyed. This covert “proxy” war needs to end new. Most Americans are not aware that the war is continuing. I am certain that is why the Pentagon recently stated that it would not release information regarding Afghanistan because it wants to hide the amount of money being spent on the covert war and its proxy private contractors/mercenaries.

Dec. 28, 2014 Barack Obama issued statements marking the end of the combat mission in Afghanistan. The war is not ending. It is a big lie. Besides its 10,000 troops, its CIA paramilitary operatives, its Afghan “selected” government, which consists primarily of communists and warlords, the U.S. is continuing to conduct its war with approximately 100,000 private contractors/mercenaries.

This war of U.S. proxies is a war against the Afghan/Pashtun villagers, the majority who are Muslim Pashtun and residing in the Rare Earth Elements(REEs) areas like Helmand. CIA thug Abdullah Abdullah is in charge of the U.S. paid private contractors/mercenaries (arbakai , ISIS, Daesh), which is controlled by the CIA. I along with other respected American Afghans met with Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in Afghanistan on September 2, 2012. I have known him since childhood. During our discussion , he mentioned to us that he was involved with the private contractors/mercenaries. The mainstream media is reporting that various international terrorists, like the ones in Syria ( ISIS) are now conducting terrorists acts in Afghanistan. Based on my knowledge , I strongly believe that is not true but rather elements of the Afghan government controlled and paid for by the CIA are conducting these acts and blaming them on ISIS to mislead the American public, who will see then rally and see the need to have the United States’ continued military presence in Afghanistan.

I believe history does repeat itself. This U.S. imperialistic campaign of genocide against the native Pashtun tribes and the theft of the Pashtun’s homeland and REEs is exactly what the United States has done to the Native American tribes in the U.S. in the past centuries. The U.S. tactics of killing the leaders of the Native American tribes, who resisted occupation, is being implemented today in the Pashutn villages. The U.S. tactics of forced re-location , theft of the native tribe’s land, rich in valuable resources, and divide and conquer are being implemented against the native Pashtun tribes, who pose a credible threat to the United States’ supremacy in Afghanistan. I believe the United States needs to learn from its past mistakes and crimes. Is China going to participate in this imperialistic campaign against the Afghan majority?

What is happening to the largest tribe in the world, the Pashtun Tribe, reminds me of the forced relocation of the Cherokee Native American tribe, who resisted the U.S. invader/occupier in the 19th century. In 1824-25, the U.S. killed the Cherokee leaders, seized the valuable Cherokee land, and forced the people’s to relocate to undesirable, strange land called the “Indian territory.” This war crime is referred to as the “Trail of Tears”. Does this sound familiar? Now, a few greedy Afghan traitors , most of them from the ethnic minorities in Afghanistan, are signing agreements with the U.S. and other countries. Pashtun land rich in REEs is being seized with villages destroyed . Pashtun tribal leaders are being killed and Pashtuns are being forcefully relocated to “tribal” territory.

The United States, NATO, the puppet government and others have committed and are committing war crimes in Afghanistan against Pashtuns during these fourteen years. It includes former President George W. Bush, Vice President Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, President Obama, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmusson, CIA thugs Ashraf Ghani, Hamid Karzai, Zalmay Khalilzad, Abdullah Abdullah, Rashid Dostum, Mohammad Mahaqiq, Sayyaf, Sibghatullah Mojaddedi, Karim Khalili, General Nur ul-Haq Ulumi General Sher Mohammad Karimi Haneef Atmar, war lords, and drug traffickers, and other top officials and military leaders in their administrations are the real terrorists. These individuals need to prosecuted in lawful tribunals for war crimes.

The United Nations and the world must have the courage to prosecute these crimes and not bow down to the super powers, which are responsible for these war crimes, and cover up these crimes. At the end of the Soviet Union’s war in and occupation of Afghanistan in 1989, the United Nations did not convene and prosecute the Soviet communist and Afghan communist war criminals, who committed war crimes against the Afghan civilians. They did not receive justice then. Now, it is happening again. Another super power, the United States and the corrupt puppet Afghan governments have committed and are committing war crimes against the Pashtun villagers. To date, there has been no international tribunals to prosecute these war criminals . Again, the United Nations is covering up these crimes for the superpowers. There can be no peace in Afghanistan without justice. The Pashtun people deserve justice just as much as the Bosnians, the Rwandans, the Jewish victims in World War II, etc, who received justice through international tribunals.

I believe the facts show that the United States has been operating like a rogue nation above the law in Afghanistan with its full scale invasion and occupation of Afghanistan (which was not responsible for the tragic events of 9/11) with its use of carpet bombs, experimental weapons, and remote drone assassination strikes, with its destruction of Afghan/Pashtun villages around the vast REE deposits in the Pashtun areas, with its use of JSOC command of special operations forces in cooperation with CIA operators and Blackwater CIA mercenaries, who raid villages, terrorize and kill civilians, snatch, grab, render, and torture those Afghans, who oppose and who have opposed the war/occupation, and the corrupt , drug trafficking Northern Alliance and puppet governments .

This war and occupation in Afghanistan, with JSOC special operation forces, CIA operatives and private mercenaries is beyond the rule of law, outside congressional oversight and fits the definition of terrorism. The Afghan/Pashtun villagers, who are the majority, are the victims of these terrorist acts. They are the victims of these war crimes. These war criminals, Afghan and American, whoever they are and whatever positions or jobs they hold, including the executive office, must be prosecuted in lawful tribunals for these crimes. Afghan/Pashtun victims, just like the Bosnians, Rwandans, the Jewish people etc, have a right to justice. Unfortunately, as we have witnessed in Afghanistan during these past four decades, without justice there can be no peace.

We need true peace in Afghanistan, which will not occur unless all foreign troops including U.S. special operation forces and hired mercenaries leave Afghanistan. We will not have true peace unless the war criminals are brought to justice in lawful tribunals- criminal and monetary justice.

Sincerely

Abdul Kadir Mohmand

Former Representative of the Afghan Mujahideen for North America during the 1980sThe U.S.
