The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and other sponsors will host a job hiring fair Wednesday for veterans and military spouses.
Large and small regional employers are expected to participate from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. and offer available jobs to veterans and military spouses of all ranks or levels of experience.
The event at the Timmermann Conference Center, 5441 Eighth St. on the base, will include a free Hiring Our Heroes employment workshop at 11 a.m. on resume writing, interview skills, and job search techniques.
Other sponsors are the New Jersey Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve, U.S. Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Service, the Army Reserve, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Goodwill Industries International and the American Legion.
