Managing Editor of VT Jim W. Dean says that the United States is on the hook for providing military aid to Israel.
You can listen to the 2.5 minute inteview at Press TV here. Excuse the audio quality as these often have a bit of garbled transmission. This was an early morning one and I was not drunk. I promise the garbles were electronic and I was not slurring my words. Selecting the 800 bit-rate speed quality on the drop-down menu helps, also. And don’t forget that the download button will shoot a copy to you in a few seconds on these short audio ones.
We appreciate all of your help in spreading the word. And, leaving a comment at the Press TV site helps us a lot. International exposure is a hugely competitive business these days, and the more audience that Press TV sees us pulling, the more interviews we will get.
They are very good at math there. So you can really help us by showing your presence via comments and FB links when we have something up. We have been able to get fabulous exposure for VT through these constant interviews, and that is reflected in the increased readership, including more overseas people. And my 2013 goal to bring more ladies in, so we could get away from the ‘boys only club’ image, was successful. They have been great contributors.

“The US is now on the hook for a lot of Israeli defense spending as far as 10 years out in advance,” Dean told Press TV on Tuesday.
“When George Bush was getting ready to leave, they were worried that there might be a pushback against some of the money they had been committed,” he added.
According to the Pentagon, Washington and Tel Aviv signed an agreement under which $429 million of American taxpayers’ money “will be transferred immediately to Israel” to fund its Iron Dome missile system.
The deal was signed last week in a bid to “continue support of the production of the Iron Dome weapon system” and provide opportunities for US industry to “receive meaningful co-production opportunities for Iron Dome components.”
[Editors Note: What may not be obvious to the average reader is that what they are saying here is how technology transfering is being done, on two levels. They are supposed to give them components that are not as good as ours, but the defense contractors can easily pass that on to them “on the side,” and have a history of doing that.
Rather than selling them Patriot systems made here so the money stays in our economy, borrowed money mind you, it goes over there, and they get control of the technology. That this is happening is known by all in Congress and all in the military who say nothing, as putting the treason spotlight on top level politicians has career implications, because the military has not yet had the balls to stand up to them by having a work stoppage and demanding a house cleaning.
They have the power to do it as they would crush the AIPAC traitors and set up step number two, releasing all of the treason-in-action phone intercepts they have on Congress and many more. If you think the Russians had interesting material like the Nuland call and the Ashton one on the Kiev shooting, the NSA can put probably two-thirds of Congress and ex-high level administration people in prison for life. That’s how big a pile they have.
So I will ask you an important question. If they saw a really huge demand that all of this informaton be realeased as a critical national security issue to finally rid the American government of its Swiss cheese-like infiltration, what do you feel the chances are they would be more inclined to have someone walk out the door with it all?
But if the public would do nothing to cover their backs in doing this, then why would they jump off the cliff? The answer is they won’t. It is our job to show that we will have their backs, and if we don’t do that, it will never happen. That is the reality, like it or not. ]
On March 4, the US House of Representatives also passed a bill which named Israel a “major strategic partner” of the US and called for the expansion of Washington’s military ties with Tel Aviv.
The legislation, which was passed by a 410 to 1 vote, calls for expanding the delivery of US arms and military technologies to Israel and commits US Congress to increase funding for Israel’s Iron Dome missile system.
Israel already receives billions of dollars from the US each year. Under an existing 10-year aid agreement signed in 2007, $30 billion of American taxpayers’ money is flowing to Israel.
The US annual military aid to Israel has been elevated from $2.4 billion to $3.1 billion through 2017 under the existing agreement.
