LOS ANGELES – Donna Beiter, executive director of the Los Angeles VA must be fired posthaste because serious misconduct is her Modus Operandi and it flows downhill. She has two Federal Judgments against her so why do you suppose a VA law officer sees nothing wrong with sending a nude photo of himself to a young woman who sought VA help for her missing uncle who is a Veteran?

We’ve been seeking help for missing Veterans for nearly six years and the only thing Donna Beiter has done is physically send uniformed, armed VA Police out to harass, intimidate and falsely arrest us, not to assist in giving necessary housing and care for homeless Veterans.
The Los Angeles VA is a national disgrace and that’s because Donna Beiter’s “leadership” is a disgrace.
Donna Beiter, who is not a Veteran, lives in a big mansion on 22 acres of lush landscaped property at the Los Angeles VA fronting Wilshire Boulevard.
While Donna Beiter lives in tight-security with comfort and luxury, tens of thousands of war-injured and impoverished Veterans have been exiled from these sacred grounds that were deeded in their behalf in 1888, and are forced to live in back-alley squalor amidst the dangerous streets of Los Angeles.

Donna Beiter is a national disgrace so why should we expect anything less of the once-revered National Veterans Home that she has been entrusted to protect and to provide housing and care for disabled homeless Veterans?
Tens of thousands of rats occupy scores of vacant buildings while Ms. Beiter’s wealthy friends occupy these sacred grounds with private Brentwood’s School’s athletic complex, a public dog park, a public community park, a public golf course, a public theater, etc.
VA Secretary Eric K. Shinseki, who also has a Federal Judgment against him with Ms. Beiter for unlawful use of this Federal VA property, has refused to fire his co-defendant.
It’s now time for President Obama to fire Mr. Shinseki.
Where is Congressman Waxman and Senators Feinstein and Boxer overseeing and ending this major national disgrace in Los Angeles?
We need complete new leadership, and at least Henry Waxman has agreed to step down at the end of his current term. How about Senators Feinstein and Boxer resigning?
Henry Waxman’s legacy for overseeing the biggest VA in the nation is deplorable and while the “Los Angeles Times” tried to glorify his so-called political accomplishments, they conveniently failed to mention his enormous short comings that led to Los Angeles being our nation’s capital for homeless Veterans.
There are more than 20,000 disabled and disadvantaged homeless Veterans in Los Angeles who need immediate housing and care.
This is a “State of Emergency” and we need new leadership now!
Congressman Waxman must immediately demand that Erick Shinseki fire Donna Beiter, or demand that President Obama fire Shinseki, or the Congressman needs to resign posthaste instead of waiting for his current term to expire.
Today is already too late for mature and responsible leadership the Los Angeles VA.
