Fellow Veterans and Friends of Veterans
President Obama has sent his National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, to assail Russia and China over Human and Civil Rights violations. “Susan Rice slams Russia, China on human rights”
In a speech at a human-rights summit in Washington, Ms. Rice said Chinese citizens “are facing increasing restrictions on their freedoms of expression, assembly and association.”
“When people in China cannot hold public officials to account for corruption, environmental abuses, worker and consumer safety, or public health crises, problems that affect China as well as the world go unaddressed,” she said. “This is short-sighted.”
It’s beyond comprehension that the President of the United States dare point fingers at another nation when his own Administration, mainly the Department of Veterans Affairs, has violated virtually every rule and law imaginable when it comes to the Civil and Human Rights of Veterans, particularly disabled and homeless Veterans.
Donna Beiter, the executive director of the largest VA in the nation in Los Angeles was issued a Federal Judgment against her on May 26, 2011 for violating Veterans Constitutional Right to Free Speech while they were assembling and protesting the VA’s mismanagement and malfeasance with illegal real estate dealings that deprive war-injured and impoverished Veterans from getting proper housing and care.
Attached is a letter seeking President Obama’s assistance to have Ms. Beter, a public official, terminated because she is also in violation of her oath of office to support and defend the U.S. Constitution. He has done nothing to remove Ms. Beiter since the letter was written to him eight months ago, which puts him in violation of his own oath of office to support and defend our Constitution.
Moreover, the Obama Administration seriously fought the second ACLU lawsuit against the VA for illegal land use deals with third-party non-Veteran entities that compounded the abuse and neglect of disabled and homeless Veterans.
Obama’s Department of Justice / US Attorneys lost their legal challenge against the ACLU attorneys as U.S. District Judge S. James Otero entered another Judgment against Ms. Beiter, including VA Secretary Eric K. Shinseki, for their illegal “enhanced sharing agreements,” ruling that nine contracts with the VA are “unauthorized by law and therefore void.”
Now, Obama’s Department of Veterans Affairs is Appealing the Federal Judgment through his Department of Justice, even though U.S. Congressman Henry Waxman requested that they not Appeal, but rather invest the time, money and resources in providing housing and care for our Veterans.
Thus, a member of the Judicial Branch issued a Federal Judgment against the Obama Administration’s VA, and a member of the Legislative Branch requested that the VA not Appeal, yet the Executive Branch thumbed its nose as an act of calculated defiance against the safety and well-being of tens of thousands of homeless Veterans in Los Angeles.
President Obama should practice what he preaches and hold our own public officials accountable for the very things he accuses China and Russia.
Equally hypocritical,
It’s time for fellow Americans to contact the Human Rights Council of the United Nations, The Hague’s International Court of Justice, The Vatican, et al., to initiate comprehensive investigations into our own United States Government for heinous crimes against humanity leveled against America’s Military Veterans who have defended freedom around the world and are now disabled, destitute and forced to live homeless and hungry on U.S. soil in solitary confinement, and under some of the most despicable and inhumane conditions imaginable.
There is no punishment that remotely equals the crimes that have been waged against the least of our Veteran Brothers and Sisters who need us to stand up in their behalf.
Please join us this Sunday for our 299th consecutive Sunday Rally to “Save Our Veterans Land” and to “Bring Our Homeless Veterans HOME.”
God Bless America and the Veterans Revolution!
