LOS ANGELES – Important video! Please take time to watch journalist Millie Weaver’s insightful and comprehensive coverage on the history of the Los Angeles National Veterans Home from 1888 through today’s biggest land fraud scam in American history that has forced 20,000 disabled and disadvantaged Veterans to live homeless and hungry in back-alley squalor.
Homeless Heroes in Back Alley Squalor
Los Angeles has the largest VA in the nation and it is also our nation’s capital for homeless Veterans.
In 2011, on behalf of disabled homeless Veterans, the ACLU filed a lawsuit against the VA for misusing these sacred grounds and abusing disadvantaged and dispossessed Veterans.
The Obama Administration’s Department of Justice is vigorously fighting the lawsuit and S. James Otero, the Federal Judge overseeing it, has sided with the U.S. Attorneys who are defending VA Secretary Eric Shinseki and Donna Beiter, his executive director at the Los Angeles VA.
Judge Otero is not a Veteran and has clearly proven not to be on the side of Veterans with his previous rulings, and he has a questionable tie-in to the community of Brentwood where a wealthy homeowner group has a 30-year rent free arrangement to build a public park on a billion-dollar parcel of Veterans property.
Our Court system is failing our disabled homeless Veterans because a Federal Judge, U.S. Attorneys and VA bureaucrats are working against their greater good.
Judge Otero must cease his misguided and biased rulings against our disabled and homeless Veterans.
Instead, he must rule against the VA’s flagrant and unlawful sharing and leasing of Veterans property for public, private and commercial use.
Stand up for justice and demand Congressional, FBI and Grand Jury Investigations into the biggest land-fraud scam in American history including serious human rights violations against disabled and disadvantaged homeless Veterans.
Please forward this news video on to your friends, including your Congressional and Senatorial Representatives and demand they stop the proposed public park on Veterans property and support the Homeless Veterans Humanitarian Relief Project
“Save Our Veterans Land” and “Bring Our Homeless Veterans HOME.”
God Bless America and the Veterans Revolution!
