US Troops Suing Over Radiation Exposure, Unique Afghanistan Memorial War

American service members are sending the land of the rising sun a Godzilla-sized bill.

U.S. troops are seeking $2 billion from Tokyo Electric Power Co.

Their lawsuit alleges TEPCO lied about radiation dangers that its Fukushima nuclear plant two years ago.

The Pentagon responded by saying radiation levels weren’t high enough to pose serious health risks.

Not good enough for government work.

Congressman Jeff Miller wants to hold VA workers accountable for mistakes they make on veterans’ claim cases. Miller said the slow and error prone should be disciplined or fired.

VA has a current backlog of about 900,000 cases.

A vet has created his own Afghanistan War Memorial.

Ron White memorized all 2,200 Afghanistan war deaths and then wrote them on a 50-foot wall in Fort Worth in one incredible 11-hour stretch.

He’d like to take his talents on the road across the nation this year.
