Two US officials and one former US official said that if the standoff over Iran’s nuclear program is not resolved by the end of 2013 Obama will use US military force against Iran.

Dennis Ross, a Jew who until November 2011 was Obama’s top adviser and planner on Iran in the National Security Council, said, “I think there’s the stomach in this administration, and this president, that if diplomacy fails [to deter Iran from developing nuclear weapons] — to use force.”

James Jeffrey, a former US Ambassador to Iraq from August 2010 to June of 2012, said, ““I think [Obama’s] first choice will be a negotiated settlement. Failing that, I think that we’re going to strike.”

The well known Jewish neoconservative war-monger Elliot Abrams endorsed the positions of Ross and Jeffrey. The World Jewish Daily.com wrote, “The endorsement by Abrams is particularly telling, as he is a well-known hawk on Middle East issues and has served only in conservative administrations. His confidence in Obama thus constitutes an important endorsement from Right of the political spectrum, which has been extremely skeptical of the current president in regard to Middle East policy.”

An article in Time magazine reported, “Iran’s current enrichment efforts remain under scrutiny by the IAEA, whose inspectors certify that no material has been diverted for any possible covert military program. And any move to break out and build a weapon would be obvious, first and foremost, by the need to enrich uranium to anything above the levels required for Iran’s peaceful purposes – less than 4% for reactor fuel; 20% for the Tehran reactor that produces medical isotopes. And on the latter, the stockpile would necessarily be limited – an issue that will be a focus in negotiations that look set to resume in the coming months. Weapons-grade uranium must be enriched to above 90%.”

Because the facts are against the neoconservative war-pigs and their stooges in the White House and Congress, the war party has not stipulated what Iran must do to have the sanctions removed and to get Israel and its client state, the US, to refrain from starting yet another war for the Jewish state of Israel.

In the not too distant future the media will be hyping how American troops are “fighting for our freedom in Iran” just as they did with the unnecessary war with Iraq. And good, decent young Americans will be sent in as RPG fodder for yet another war for the benefit of US politicians and Israel. Thousands of Americans and countless Iranians will be mutilated and killed while Israel grows stronger.
