In the wake of “Bibi” NetanBombYou’s bizarre speech to the UN, questions have been raised about the Israeli Prime Minister’s political acumen, and even his mental health.
As he glowered and pointed at a cartoon figure of a bomb, the Likudnik leader looked like Wile E. Coyote devising a plot to blow up the Road Runner.
Among the questions about Netanyahu that have been raised, the one that stands out is:
Could this guy be a ‘Toon?
We’ve known, ever since the Roger Rabbit movies, that realistic-looking people can inhabit cartoon worlds, and vice-versa. Netanyahu, more than any other current leader, seems a stock villain inhabiting a cartoon universe.
Netanyahu’s plan for dealing with Iran
Netanyahu has all the characteristics of a classic cartoon villain, including the rankest hypocrisy imaginable.
The Netanyahu-instigated anti-Islam film scandal fit perfectly into Bibi’s cartoon universe, where all Muslims are scary, tall, dark guys in Bin Laden beards who want to throw bombs at the poor helpless little Israelis.
In fact, the anti-Islam film was designed to shore up the greatest cartoon conflict of our time – a conflict even more gargantuan and heroic than the Tom vs. Jerry, Bugs vs. Elmer, Sylvester vs. Tweety, and Road Runner vs. Coyote conflicts. I’m talking, of course, about Bibi’s 9/11-instigated “clash of civilizations” show.
By the way…If Netanyahu ever did start a war with Iran, here’s what would happen to Israel.
The media, which pretends to keep cartoon universes and real universes separate, couldn’t believe its eyes.
Shades of Dr. Strangelove!
Netanyahu, in the Slim Pickens role, falls off his horse
Breaking news update! The Netanyahu ‘Toon has returned to a cartoon version of the UN to respond to all the mockery he has received.
