1.    The final days in bin Laden’s lair: Wives split by suspicions.  As U.S. forces made preparations for their May, 2011 raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan, the terrorist leader was in the middle of a different kind of battle: Discord between his wives.

6.    Mortuary official: Military overruled push for 9/11 sea burials.  Officials at an Air Force mortuary pushed to have some cremated remains from victims of the Sept. 11 attacks buried at sea, but they were overruled by higher-ups in the military who insisted on a plan that resulted in the ashes being dumped in a landfill, according to a mortuary official.
