Here’s Today’s Department of Defense Contract Awards
NAVY
The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $687,484,033 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-fee multi-year procurement contract (N00019-09-C-0019) for 14 additional fiscal 2012, Lot 36, F/A-18E aircraft and one additional fiscal 2012, Lot 36, F/A-18F aircraft contained in the F/A-18 multi-year III production contract. Pursuant to the variation in quantity clause, this procurement will bring the number of F/A-18E aircraft on this contract from 55 to 69, and the F/A-18F from 20 to 21. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (45.2 percent); El Segundo, Calif. (44.6 percent); Hazelwood, Mo. (3.4 percent); Cleveland, Ohio (1.7 percent); Torrance, Calif. (1.4 percent); Vandalia, Ohio (1 percent); Ajax, Canada (1 percent); Irvine, Calif. (0.7 percent); Johnson City, N.Y. (0.5 percent); and Grand Rapids, Mich. (0.5 percent). Work is expected to be completed in October 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
Camber Corp., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $23,239,314 indefinite-delivery/
Insitu, Inc., Bingen, Wash., is being awarded a $21,048,058 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-11-C-0061) to exercise an option for operational and maintenance services in support of the ScanEagle unmanned aerial systems. These services will provide electro-optical/infrared and mid-wave infrared imagery in support of U.S. Marine Corps operations in Operation Enduring Freedom to provide real-time imagery and data. Work will be performed in Bingen, Wash., and is expected to be completed in May 2012. Contract funds in the amount of $21,048,058 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $10,332,954 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-11-C-1058) to exercise two options to support the Integrated Communication and Information Systems Division of Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in the design, integration, testing, installation, training, and certification of shipboard communication systems; the design and integration of like systems at shore sites associated with the deployment of fleet support to surface combatants; and the design, testing, and integration of mobile and airborne communication systems designed to interface with C4I architecture of surface combatants. Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed in September 2016. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
KBR Federal Services, L.L.C., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $9,035,642 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of a commissary and an exchange at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport (Coleville Housing Community). The contract also contains options and a planned modification, which, if issued, would increase cumulative contract value to $10,139,126. Work will be performed in Coleville, Calif., and is expected to be completed by February 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 10 proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N62473-12-C-5003).

Northrop Grumman Space Technology, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded a $10,000,000 cost-plus-award-fee contract for sustainment for the Minute Man Missile System incremental funding for exercised option. The location of the performance is Clearfield, Utah. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2012. AFNWC/PKME, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0001).
