Veterans Day is supposed to be about showing respect to military veterans. There is no higher form of respect than the truth.
A good friend of mine who is a Vietnam vet and I were talking not long ago about the unnecessary wars currently being fought by the U.S. in Afghanistan and Iraq. He belongs to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and I belong to the American Legion. Neither one of us could understand why vets don’t speak out more to stop these horrific wars and to prevent the politicians from starting new ones. Particularly as veterans, it is our duty to do so.
Watching combat footage from Iraq and Afghanistan on the news today makes it painfully evident the same sick unquestioning cycle continues as it did during the Vietnam War/police action. Outstanding Marines, soldiers and other military people are being killed, burned and maimed, not for what they were told they are fighting for, but for what they are really fighting for. During Vietnam it was not freedom, but largely corporate profits. Today, it is not freedom, but it is the careers of political whores from both parties who don’t have the decency and courage to stand up to Israel’s powerful lobby.
Add to this high cost in American lives and suffering, the equally high cost of the local civilian people who’ve been killed and wounded by American military power in these kosher wars (I use “kosher” as a negative since it is a scam in that many Gentiles pay for kosher symbols on their food and other products without knowing about it; in that the kosher method of slaughter, like the Islamic halal method, are superstition based and cause unnecessary pain for the animal being slaughtered; in that it makes a fool of God in Leviticus 11:19-20 by having God classify bats as fowl and saying there are four legged fowls [PDF – Click here for links to free Deism leaflets]) and it’s very easy to see it’s wrong and that it causes untold damage to America and her people.
The U.S.S. Liberty Veterans Association continues to attempt to warn people about the ungodly grip Israel has on U.S. politicians, and through the politicians, on the American people. As most VT readers know, the U.S.S. Liberty was repeatedly attacked in international waters by the Israeli air force and navy. Israel murdered 32 U.S. sailors and two U.S. Marines and wounded 173 American servicemen during their June 8, 1967 attacks. The treasonous U.S. politician, Lyndon Johnson, ordered American fighter jets, that were on their way to destroy the Israeli cowards and to save their American brothers, back to their carriers and let the slaughter of Americans continue. Most Americans have never even heard of this true day of infamy. That is due to the excessive influence organized Jewry has in the media. Sans this unnatural kosher influence, America would have and should have launched retaliatory assaults on Israel.
Currently there is a rush to war with Iran. In the Jerusalem Post a columnist wrote an article encouraging Obama to bomb Iran as a way to win reelection! They are very blatant in their push for war with Iran. This is probably because it worked so well for them in their efforts to get the U.S. to start a war with Israel’s former enemy, Iraq. I guess when you actually believe the old Hebrew/Jew lie that God said you’re “above all people that are upon the face of the earth” (Deuteronomy 7:6), you expect nothing but obedience from your inferiors. And both Democrat and Republican politicians are only too happy to sacrifice the lives and limbs of Americans, as well as American tax dollars, for the Jewish state if it will please Israel’s lobby enough to help them with their political careers.
In the article linked above, it’s interesting to read a reply to a comment an American made saying it would be wrong for the U.S. to attack Iran. The Jewish reply is revealing in that it shows some support for Communist China. The reply post reads, “You are right. The United States is a has-been former superpower. It can no longer afford to be what it once was, or what it still claims to be. It is vacating the stage to China (which isn’t so bad) and to Iran (which is a global disaster) — all because it is too tired and fat (even obese, as are most of its citizens) to hold up its end. It prefers to overeat junk food while watching important Sunday football games. What was I thinking?” The psychology in this reply is similar to a child trying to provoke a fight in the playground. The big difference is measured in the lives another unnecessary war will waste.
All of this misery could have been avoided if we had stuck to what key American founders believed. True heroes like George Washington who said, ““My policy has been, and will continue to be, while I have the honor to remain in the administration of the government, to be upon friendly terms with, but independent of, all the nations of the earth. To share in the broils of none. To fulfill our own engagements. To supply the wants, and be carriers for them all: Being thoroughly convinced that it is our policy and interest to do so.”
The success of the American Revolution, as the American founder and Deist Thomas Paine said, made it possible to have a successful Deistic revolution in religion. A Deistic revolution in religion would positively influence the thinking, and, thus, the actions of the people. Freeing people from fear based superstitions and encouraging the regular use of their God-given reason (Deism is a natural and rational bridge that unites our God-given reason to our belief in God) would make it very difficult to sell them a bill of goods like the Iraq War.
If we really care about our fellow vets and those currently in the military, we should all work to expose the reality and the truth of the dire situation we’re in. We need to educate people about the real reasons for the current wars and of why Iran is the next target. Continuing down the road we’re currently traveling will only lead to more unnecessary death and suffering and eventually to our complete demise.
