The more I learn about the Liberty attack, and talk to survivors–and see, and learn about the men that were on that ship—the more I’m feeling such a powerful bond—in my mind and my heart–with these men, and I now can imagine more than ever–the thoughts, feelings, and horrific fear that they were feeling on that dreadful day, and are still feeling to this very day! Every day, I feel their never-ending sadness, restlessness, and their desperation to make this murderous betrayal known to the world, and to finally get their justice for this severe injustice!
PLEASE CAN YOU TELL ME
NOW LIBERTY WAS A LONE SHIP, SOME CALLED HER A “SPOOK SHIP”
HER MEN SWORN TO SECRECY.
SHE SAILED IN INTERNATIONAL WATERS, OFF THE COAST OF SINAI,
INTO THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA.
WITH MANY HARD DAYS OF FULL SPEED AHEAD,
THERE WAS SOON A MUTUAL FEELING OF DREAD,
AS SHE APPROACHED THE ARAB/ISRAELI WAR ZONE.
AND THOUGH THE MEN WERE ALL TOGETHER, THEY KNEW THEY WERE ALL ALONE.

OH PLEASE CAN YOU TELL ME WHY SO MANY OF MY BROTHERS DIED.
WAS THIS SOME SORT OF GAME OF TREASON,
OR WAS THIS JUST SOME KIND OF HORRIBLE LIE?
WELL FINALLY BACK IN WASHINGTON, THEY SENT OUT A MESSAGE,
