AIR FORCE

The Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $258,335,789 modification to a fixed-price award fee contract to exercise the fiscal 2011, fourth quarter, option contract line items.  The basic C-17 Globemaster III sustainment partnership contract provides total system support responsibility to Boeing for the C-17 weapon system to include program management, sustaining logistics, material and equipment management, sustaining engineering, depot level maintenance, engine management, long term sustainment planning, Air Logistics Center partnering support, depot activation, and support of the Air Force and Foreign Military Sale operators of the C-17.  Aerospace Sustainment Directorate Contracting Section, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8614-04-C-2004-PO0548).

Alloy Surface, Ashton, Pa., is being awarded an $11,276,665 firm-fixed-price contract for MJU-50/B impulse cartridges.  This infrared countermeasures decoy consists of an aluminum cartridge case purged with nitrogen and containing a payload of stacked special material elements, which react with air.  OO-ALC/GHGKA, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8213-11-C-0045).

ARMY

BAE Systems Ordnance Systems, Inc., Kingsport, Tenn., was awarded a $63,340,000 firm-fixed-price contract.  This award provides funding for the Area A to Area B Facility Relocation Project at Holston Army Ammunition Plant.  Work will be performed in Kingsport, Tenn., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2013.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-98-E-0006).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded a $38,640,344 firm-fixed-price with cost-plus-fixed-fee contract-line-item-number contract.  The award is for the fiscal 2011 U.S. Patriot Advanced Capability production requirement for five Patriot Advanced Capability-3 four-pack missiles (20 missiles).  Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas; Lufkin, Texas; Camden, Ark.; Chelmsford, Mass.; and Ocala, Fla., with an estimated completion date of July 30, 2014.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone, Aviation and Missile Command Contracting Center, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-11-C-0001).

U.S. TRANSPORTATION COMMAND

AAR Airlift, Camden, N.C., is being awarded a $48,814,136 task order for fixed wing aircraft, personnel, equipment, tools, material, maintenance and supervision necessary to perform passenger and cargo air transportation services.  Work will be performed in Afghanistan and will start July 1, 2011 to be completed by May 31, 2012.  This contract was a competitive acquisition with two bids received.  U.S. Transportation Command Directorate of Acquisition, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (HTC711-10-D-R016).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded a firm-fixed-price, basic ordering agreement contract with a maximum $8,183,667 for blade assemblies.  There are no other locations of performance.  Using service is Navy.  The date of performance completion is Jan. 31, 2015.  The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPRPA1-09-G-004Y-5786).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $7,680,000 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-5115) for management and engineering services to maintain and modify as necessary the design of DDG 51-class combat system compartments and topside arrangements, in support of program executive officer Integrated Warfare Systems.  Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (37 percent); Bath, Maine (25 percent); Pascagoula, Miss. (22 percent); San Diego, Calif. (6 percent); Washington, D.C. (5 percent); Norfolk, Va. (3 percent); Port Hueneme, Calif. (1 percent); and Syracuse, N.Y. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2011.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
