Oshkosh Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., was awarded on June 16 a $226,277,100 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the purchase of 5,131 underbody improvement kits for the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All Terrain Vehicle in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2012. One bid was solicited with one bid receive. Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., was awarded on June 16 a $36,087,425 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract. The award will provide for M982 Excalibur 155mm precision engagement projectiles. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz.; Healdsburg, Calif.; Niceville, Fla.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Baltimore, Md.; Joplin, Mo.; McKinney, Texas; and the United Kingdom, with an estimated completion date of March 15, 2012. The award will provide for research in the detection of insider threats based on sensor data from routine activities of members of a group, and possibly social networks. Leebcor Services, LLC, Williamsburg, Va., was awarded on June 16 a $6,802,634 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the design and construction of an addition of a paint spray hangar bay to an existing low observable/composite repair hangar. Work will be performed at Langley Air Force Base, Va., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 15, 2012. Bids were solicited through the Internet with 12 bids received. NAVY
Lockheed Martin, Mission Systems and Sensors, Eagan, Minn., is being awarded a $758,184,400 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-fee, and cost reimbursable contract line item numbers for the design, production, installation and support of Technical Insertion-12 and Technical Insertion -14 hardware which includes display, workstation, processors and network systems used in mission critical and mission essential host systems currently installed on Navy submarines. The Program Executive Office Submarine Technology Insertion Hardware architecture will provide a modular framework of processors and display computer resources consisting of consoles, card cages, high resolution monitors, large-screen displays, and associated peripherals. The hardware equipment will interface with local area networks and use a combination of commercial and Navy interface standards. Work will be performed in Eagan, Minn. (99 percent), and Johnstown, Pa. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by June 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with one offer received. Defense Support Services, LLC, Mount Laurel, N.J., is being awarded a $39,915,868 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for organizational level maintenance with limited intermediate level maintenance on current and future assigned aircraft in support of the Naval Test Wing Pacific at Point Mugu and China Lake Naval Air Stations. Work will be performed in China Lake, Calif. (79 percent), and Point Mugu, Calif. (21 percent), and is expected to be completed in August 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via an electronic request for proposals, with four offers received. DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Welch Allyn, Inc., Skaneateles Falls, N.Y., was issued a modification exercising the second option year on the current contract SPM2D1-09-D-8350/P00009. Award is a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $43,650,000 for patient monitoring systems, subsystems, accessories, consumables, spare/repair parts and training. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. The date of performance completion is June 23, 2012. Bemsco, Inc.*, Salt Lake City, Utah, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $39,977,280 for fixed landing gear. There are no other locations of performance. Using service is Army. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Clearfield, Utah, is being awarded an $11,278,468 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to purchase the design and testing of weapon system processor (WSP) hardware/software changes that preclude generation of a continuous signal on the command transmit lines. It will also purchase the design and development of material change to the WSP to ensure circuit cards are correctly installed and remain fully seated during transportation and when installed in the Launch Control Center operational and training environment.
