Gulf War Syndrome Is Real, But Causes Unclear: Report

This is excellent news and should be distributed to all gulf war and current troops and family members as soon as possible and widely.  I want all veterans to know that the IOM and their chair actively have changed their position and are now on the side of the veterans!  This took a while to break them from just following DOD and VA directions and to function on the side of getting real answers to a real health problem!  They are now advocating for us!  It may not be all you want but it is definitely a step in right direction!

We are now going in the right direction!  There is hope for each of us.  A request for gulf war veterans to participate in the research we gulf war veteran leaders have found for re getting the right people, the funding, the support of the hill, and the right researchers!

Please also take a minute to write your elected members of congress and share this information with them and ask that they include it on their websites and their constituent notifications re newsletters.  I ask you also to contact your local newspapers and media both radio and television to get them to cover this in their news!

Please veterans you can help each other by doing these things we ask you to do.

Also get it to all veteran organizations in your state…and ask them that all their posts and or chapters also distribute this news on their websites, newsletters and on bulletin boards at all their posts and or chapters.

Do not forget about your own state contacts re State Veterans’ affairs, state level senators and representatives and veteran/health/etc committees at your state house.

Also political parties, all in your state.

Distribute also to any attorneys that cover veteran claims, to veterans courts, and doctors at VA and civilian.  Also distribute to your universities that have medical, legal, nursing, hard science re biology etc colleges and to their Chancellor office.

And any other ideas you all have re at bases on bulletin boards through the PA offices and all units that were deployed ….and also at commissaries and places on basses!

Come on these are things you can help with both veterans and active duty and guard and reserves……
