Military Readiness

A lot of folks are talking about recent legislative action about INCLUSIVENESS in the military. We do not hear about a worn out military, equipment needing maitenance at the depot level, enemies that operate with impunity outside of the Iraq and Afgan areas of operations and the shocking waste of our nations resources. Talk to the line grunt as I do. You will not find the approval so legislative actions the talking heads in the news as (so callled) military leaders tell us about.

America may soon face a conventional war. I do not believe we have the military resources to fight it as will be needed. Our nation’s military will prevail – as they always have – they will hold the line as we “gear up” to support them.

History does repeat itself. Has anyone viewed old newreal footage of the nation’s poor state of military readiness prior to World War I, World War II, Korea and into Vietnam? My view is that we are the same state again.

Ideas? Sure, get the corperations out of the military. Maintenance needs to be perfromed by Sailors, Soliders, Marines, Airmen and CoastGuardsmen that can put down a wrench and pick up a rifle. Not overpaid civilians that no member of the military can order to do anything.

All three branches of our government are telling the military how conduct their mission. These foolish and destructive measures may end when we enter a more conventional war. I believe the talking head cowards will slither and slime under the ROCKS they crawl out of when there is not real danger. Our military will again save the United States – as they always do. Maybe this time, we will vote the cowards out at every election.
