Reports NPR (12/16, Amos), seven injured vets are “revisiting the battlefield in an unprecedented experimental program called Operation Proper Exit,” which is “designed to heal the deepest wounds by providing veterans with a week in Iraq.”

The trip “includes a visit to the place where” the veterans “sustained…injuries that dramatically changed their lives.”
