U.S. Department of Defense Announces Latest Contract Award

AIR FORCE

                United Technologies Corp., East Hartford, Conn., was awarded a $100,738,400 contract modification which is an increase in the undefinitized contract for the acquisition of eight additional priority initial spare F119 engines, for the total of 33 engines.  At this time, the entire amount has been obligated.  ASC/WWUK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FAFA8611-08-C-2896; P00044) . 

                Diligent Consulting, Inc., San Antonio, Texas, was awarded a $24,000,000 contract which will provide for Air Education and Training Command Department of Defense information assurance certification and accreditation process support services.  At this time, no money has been obligated.  AAC/PKO, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA2823-D-0001, FA2823-D-0002). 

                AMPEX Data Corp., Redwood City, Calif., and Calculex, Inc., Las Cruces, N.M., were awarded a $15,000,000 contract which will provide airborne data recorders.  At this time, $274,979 has been obligated.  AAC/PKO is the contracting activity (FA2823-D-0001, FA2823-D-0002).
