From the Jacksonville Daily News:

More than 100 Marines from Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 2, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, are scheduled to return home this week.

Members of the squadron will be greeted by friends and family aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point today and Monday, following a six-month deployment to Afghanistan, according to releases from air station personnel.

The squadron’s main force of roughly 80 Marines is scheduled to return today. The squadron’s pilots, flight crew and compliment of aircraft are scheduled to return Monday.

The squadron provides electronic countermeasures using the EA-6B Prowler, the Department of Defense’s only dedicated radar-jamming aircraft. Cherry Point is home to all four EA-6B squadrons in the Marine Corps.
