I have been reflecting for years, with increasing dread, over the sheer enormity of the “war/defense” industry and what it costs us (and the rest of the world) in terms of dollars, in terms of sacrificed sons, daughters and grandchildren as well as what I have come increasingly to believe, the loss of our own humanity.

It’s interesting, from time to time, to see which rat holes all these hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars are disappearing into. Here is a list of a few of the contracts announced in the last couple of days at Defense Industry Daily which provides “military purchasing news for defense procurement managers and contractors.”
