DID CHENEY MISREPRESENT GITMO HOSPITALITY?
by CWO3 Tom Barnes, USCG (Ret.), Staff Writer
In this morning’s Washington Post there is a lengthy article titled "Internal Rifts on Road to Torment". It is written about the philosophical source and primary instigators of excessively harsh interrogation and torture techniques used by Americans on detainees at the Guantanamo Camps in Cuba.
It seems after all, according to this article, that the career American intelligence people really were against the torture, just like they have claimed all along.
According to this article, it was the contractors hired by Bushite Reich-sters that were pushing this inhumane treatment.
If we are going to slam American intelligence types for lying then we need to applaud them when we find out that they actually were not lying, they were telling us the truth. They opposed the torture apparently. It is clear now that the contractors brought onboard by the last administration were given much too much authority in what was actually done down there in the name of this republic.
Shame on all of us for not listening to what the Intelligence people had been leaking to us for years. This time we were wrong.
I would like to apologize to the American Intelligence Community for not believing them in this regard. If you opposed this torture personally, you are to be congratulated for your adherence to American ideals. Thank you for your courage. I was wrong to accuse you of torture if in fact it was not you, but hired fundamentalist neo-Nazis forced upon you by King George.
