VINELAND — NJ…U.S. Rep. Frank A. LoBiondo, R-2, is hosting a veterans enrollment clinic at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home on North West Boulevard on June 15.

The clinic is an opportunity to help local veterans determine their eligibility and, if eligible, facilitate their participation in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ health care system, according to a news release.

Since 2006, LoBiondo has hosted five such enrollment clinics across South Jersey.

Veterans who plan to attend are asked to bring their DD-214 forms and tax forms.

Also, Category 8 veterans are strongly encouraged to attend and enroll. Veterans Affairs recently announced it re-opened enrollment for its medical benefits package for Category 8 veterans by increasing the income threshold by 10 percent, the release said.

The clinic, which takes place at 524 North West Boulevard, is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Veterans can also determine their eligibility and enroll in the Veterans Affairs’ health care system, and ask additional questions as well, by calling 1-877-222-VETS.
