41. KENNARD DORAN JARRETT Chicago, Illinois/Gary, Indiana native Kennard was born to Christopher Columbus and Patricia Ann (Barbee) Jarrett in East Chicago, IN. He graduated from West Side High School with the mighty class of 1978. He enlisted in the Army and served with the 685th Transportation Company in Desert Storm. Died Suddenly. Probably under the age of 50!

KENNARD DORAN JARRETT Chicago, Illinois/Gary, Indiana native Kennard was born to Christopher Columbus and Patricia Ann (Barbee) Jarrett in East Chicago, IN. He was baptized at Zion Progressive Baptist Church by the late Rev. Norman Hairston, Sr. He graduated from West Side High School with the mighty class of 1978. He enlisted in the Army and served with the 685th Transportation Company in Desert Storm. He lived most of his adult life in Chicago, IL. He was a City of Chicago employee. He worked at O’hare and was currently with Fleet Management. He left us suddenly and will be missed by all. He enjoyed life and lived it by his rules. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia A (Barbee) Jarrett; brother, Christopher R. Jarrett; and step-sister, Edna D. Jarrett. He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Christopher C. Jarrett, Gary; four sons, Kennard D., Jr., Merrillville, Martin Scott and Reese, Milwaukee, WI, Steven, Dyer; sister Debra A. Jones, Gary; grandchildren, Jaylyn and Kennard III, Gary; and his heart Charity Marne’ Patricia Scott, Milwaukee, WI; nephews, Darren Jones, Toledo, OH, Dominick and Dimitri Jones, Gary; his fiance, Kim and her daughter; his favorite little lady, Pooh; aunts and uncles, Vera Halliburton, John Robert (Mary) Barbee, Mary Powell, and John (Billie) Jarrett, all of Detroit, MI, Daniel (Iva Sue) Jarrett, Brownsville, TN, Nathaniel Jarrett, East Chicago, IN, Robert (Henrietta) Jarrett and Winston (Kathy) Jarrett of Halls, TN, Rev. James (Evelyn) Jarrett, Fort Walton Beach, FL, Betty (Rev. Eddie) Swift, Ripley, TN, George (Joyce) Jarrett, Gary, IN; special aunt and second home, Thelma Jarrett, Gary, IN; ex-wife and friend, Mary Jarrett, Dyer, IN; mother of his first born son and friend, Treva Johnson, Merrillville, IN; godmother, Orastine Newsome, Atlanta, GA; Baker Street buddies for life, Patrick "Bear" Murphy, Jackie Sims, and Michael Cody. first cousins, Gerald "Roundman", Andre, Ray and Larry Jarrett, Greg White and Theo "Boss" Carpenter; a host of cousins, friends, and City of Chicago co-workers.
