Those who care about polls learned yesterday that Bush is now officially what so many have always known, an official failure.  Most of us know him to be a fool with beliefs out of the Middle Ages.  Thousands, rumored to be millions but nobody can be sure since we are increasingly learning that our elections have been rigged, almost openly, in state after state, may have actually believed in Bush.

Now the same people, some my friends, albeit deluded ones, are turning on him like ravenous rats.  Even TV openly mocks Bush with Boston Legal this week being devoted entirely to diatribes on the destruction of moral and democratic values under his corrupt leadership.  The "leftie" shows like "30 Rock" get their digs in but everyone else is either taking a parting shot or turning tables.

The most disgusting of all is Fox News.  Murdock, the "James Bond Villian" with secret monorails and jump suited minions has now become a big backer of Hillary.  I love that she accepts money and press from the same people who are largely responsible for everything she talks against.  Without Fox and CNN, running propaganda interference along with millions in Pentagon payoffs to pundits, columnists and endless phony news releases, it would have been impossible for the US to become the hated dictatorship we are becoming and may eventually turn into no matter who we vote for.  They don’t have to rig elections anymore.  We simply have 3 of the same crooked candidates to choose from.

It took years of hard working ignorance by many Americans to get us where we are today.  No foreign enemy could do what 7 years of insanity has caused. 

I have actually thought about starting an anti-McCain website, just out of boredom.  I am sure I could collect millions like the "Swifties" got for going after Vietnam Vets.  Now TV and movies are after a new generation of brutal baby killing soldiers, this time, a volunteer army of troops who do endless tours away from their families with half living in delux air conditioned bases with every imaginable perk and many others living like real soldiers, (ok, my opinion….sorry about that), with tents, bad food and military neglect.

I thought the Vietnam War was bad enough, having one of the worst governments on Earth as an ally but this is something different.  Vietnam was a "one tour" war with most Marines and others extending or taking multiple tours out of boredom.  Nobody believed in the war.  I never heard anyone equate Vietnam with defending America or even doing right.  It was a war to have a war and for no other reason.  That gave us purity of purpose, meaning no purpose at all and dying for nothing is better than dying for a lie.

Now we have a public tiring of the Global War on Terror.  Most Americans believe we had a part in planning 9/11 ourselves, as polls show.  This is a large part of the reason people have turned on the President.  This isn’t the first war we started for money and won’t be the last. 

War has always been a business but never on the scale we have now.  Companies like Haliburton work for us in Iraq and work for our enemies too.  It is all like a big game.  Eventually, you begin to think that Al Quaeda is just an invention of the Bush Administration. 

Last month we lost 49 soldiers in Iraq and never left the same small neighborhood in Baghdad.  What does that tell you?  3 guys alone could have killed our troops.  It may only be 20 and we have 175,000 troops fighting them in a country that used to have a 2 million man army.  What are we doing and why?  We are fighting someone elses war just like in Vietnam because it is making money for the few, keeping the coffins coming in and pleasing the American Legion and NRA types who are still looking for communists under their beds and whining about Jane Fonda.

Now they want John McCain, an official nutcase, and know by many as "the Hanoi Songbird" because of his "cooperation" with the enemy while a POW.  (www.usvetdsp.com)  Who cares if he is elected.  A gang of "bagmen" and paid liars runs the country anyway.  Both political parties are a joke.  Democracy is something that only "communists and liberals" talk about.  We have been pushed that low.   Asking questions, demanding answers is now unpatriotic.  Lying and stealing with impunity is accepted by nearly all Americans as how our country is supposed to be run.

Paying for Bush is starting to hurt.  For those who voted for the moron, I can only sit back and laugh while they leave the supermarket with a half empty cart of cheap food and have to give up buying clothing and toys to pay for gas.  They thought there would never be a time when paying the bills for voting for crooks would come.  It has started and will only get worse.

I could say something optimistic about how we could win back our country and bring democracy back.  We haven’t suffered enough.  We haven’t had enough kids killed in imaginary wars or lost enough trillions into the hands of the  thieving rich.  Communism was created by the kind of situtation we are creating now. 

People lose hope, their homes and jobs and they will do anything.  We are still, most of us, eating and driving around blindly.  Our kids may not have the future we wanted for them but we seen safe and comfortable.  We hope it will keep going on, borrowing money from Red China to feed our kids and buy weapons.  We dream that money will never have to be paid back and that lending it had no strings.

Maybe we can go the way of Europe.  We can stop having kids, stop making anything, give up eating meat, pay 8 bucks a gallon for gas and live in tiny houses.

Maybe we could develop a culture, get decent public transportation and recognize our limitations, like Europe has done.
