A LOOK AROUND AND A NOTE OR TWO

Some of us have been watching the election process with, I suspect, most of us having a bad feeling or two that we are bending over in "less than polite company". I am sticking with Hillary because she says all the right things about veterans and McCain is clearly on the wrong side on all veterans issues like he was on POW issues.
It seems like everyone who listens to Barak seems to leave feeling that they have seen him channel the ghost of JFK. I love the idea of leadership and he seems to have the ability to convince people he can do it. No Republican comes close, not any Republican that is allowed to run a serious campaign anyway. That party sold its soul long ago and buying it back will require even more disasters.
There is only one real issue anymore. Our national security is threatened by the collapse of our currency. The war on terror is nothing compared to a possible upcoming depression and currency devaluation. Even the most die hard liberal, drowning in 2 trillion dollars of Republican corruption/war debt can’t keep us fed and invent enough jobs for our kids…
I have the real fear we may be dead already but that may be just my PTSD talking. Our money is actually worthless and eventually will buy no more oil or other key resources. Our only answer will be back yard vegetable gardens and borrowing more money from the Chinese who have no other use for it other than to lend it out.
Ten years ago they were borrowing money from everyone. Now they are drowning in it and throwing it around like drunken sailors. On the other hand, our housing equity squeeze had eliminated much of the equity from our financial markets. This means that the people who thought they were making money under Bush to build America were delusional.
That money doesn’t exist because the ability to sell real estate and make money building things has diminished significantly. Using the terms of Rush Limbaugh, we are "a crack whore in a gay neighborhood".
Our only job is to, perhaps, shoot or jail everyone who still believes things are ok. That seems to be 18% of the population. They are dangerous and Bush has managed to keep alot of people rich that Darwin would have gotten rid of otherwise.
Step 2 is easy. The war stops and everyone in the middle east can take care of themselves. The ones here are welcome, I like their food.
Step 3 is to clean up our political system by setting up real term limits, eliminating soft money and disassembling corporate control of our media. Bringing back democracy is going to be painful for some people who have been eating at the good end of the trough too long. Sorry about that.
Step 4 involves ending NAFTA as a bizarre experiment to send our remaining jobs south for awhile until the Chinese take them from Mexico, which has actually happened. Thus, the uncontrolled immigration. NAFTA has failed.
Step 5 involves restoring "national service" which can be a combination of draft and volunteer service, like in Germany. With no troops allowed to fight overseas without a full declaration of war, I will support it. We need 3 more divisions in the Army and an elimination of the abuses the Reserves and National Guard have been subjected to.
Step 6 involved cleaning up the federal government. First thing to go is Homeland Security. It sounds too much like a "German" thing to me. We now employ millions of people that are doing little but wasting money and doing nothing other than destroy our civil rights. We don’t need an armed mob ready to overthrow our government eating up our tax dollars.
Step 7 is to put real limits on what the Supreme Court is allowed to do and not to do. No more court controlled elections. If we need a new constitution, then throw the one we have away and write a new one. We don’t need a pack of political hacks and petty thieves to twist the old one out of shape and stick it up our collective asses.
Step 8….is to investigate and prosecute everyone involved in profiteering from the war, oil prices and political pork for the past 20 years, Clinton or Bush. I want the prisons full of golfers, stock brokers and arms salesmen. I want the kids selling crack back on the corner or, better yet, in jobs.
Step 9 is a national moritorium on the use and creation of imaginary divisive issues for political gain. I will name it "sedition" and make it a crime. Several million Americans including Bo Gritz were willing to murder their own family members to save Terri Shiavo. That Terri turned out to have been a ZOMBIE for years should not be forgotten. Washington "think tanks" financed by thieves and butchers are paid hundreds of millions each year to invent things to drive people crazy so they will vote for idiots or support insanity.
It has to stop.
If I have failed to say anything about cleaning up the VA, I will take a moment now. An advisory board of enlisted troops elected by non-retiree veterans (people who get VA care, not TRICARE) will manage the VA as Trustees. Criteria will be active service with at least half being combat vets and 2/3rds being under E4. (call this one Step 10….I would prefer a 12 step program but I want to keep both my "denial" and I don’t want to make amends)
If someone is going to be bribed and corrupted, it should, at least, be a dozen of us.
